Nation's Inn - Hotel in West Jefferson - 107 Beaver Creek School Rd, USA

The worst hotel we have ever stepped foot in. We reserved a king, non-smoking room with a couch, balcony and a view. The first room we were sent to had 2 beds, each not much larger than a twin bed. The room smelled nasty, the pillow cases were dingy/dirty looking, the lights didn't work properly, and a parking lot for the view. We immediately left the room and went back to the check-in desk. Next we were sent to a room with a king bed, all the same problems as the first room, only the smell was even worse. I believe this hotel likely has a lot of electrical problems. The 2nd room was on the 1st floor and instead of a couch the room had a non-functioning recliner. We went back to the check-in desk and told them we would not be staying. The room that was advertised and reserved was not provided. We are attempting to get a refund. DO NOT book a room in this hotel If I could give zero stars I would. I felt sorry for the man at the front desk.

Positive: Location Negative: This is a hotel people live at. No elevator. The sherzs were clean but pillows were really old and flat, chairs were stained. I would not stay here again

Horrible Motel, Rooms are disgusting. We had to have the front desk change our room. The first room was filthy, absolutely stunk like mold and smoke (non-smoke room) burn holes all over the floor and chair. Bed covers, sheets and towels stained with who knows what. AC barely worked… Cigarette butts all over the exterior walk ways, ash trays over following. Need maintenance to come repair the tv to get it to work and very poor reception even after. No phones in the rooms and the front desk phone didn’t work “new phone system down” The guy at the front desk was nice but seemed preoccupied with playing a board game and eating with friends in the lobby. Would not have stayed if we didn’t have a large group together..

We came and rented a block of rooms for a family reunion. It was horrible! There was pee on the toilet seat and looked like dried blood on the front of the toilet. |The room smelt like 40 years of cigarette smoke. |I recommend you spend more money - ELSEWHERE!

When we arrived the hotel was disgusting. The pictures of this hotel were false. This place looks NOTHING like the photos. The rooms were vile and the atmosphere did NOT seem safe for anyone to be around. Would not recommend.

Positive: "" Negative: End up in a smoking room floor was dirty burn marks on the bedspread and the room odor fro.the smoking was awful. Had to go out and find air freshner

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Burns and tears in the comforters, only 5 tv channels, no towels, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, most outlets didn't work, the door was hard to close, and there was paint spilled on the lanolium and carpet

We stayed here because nicer hotel had 2 night minimum. Looked sketchy from outside and for a reason. The staff were very friendly and helpful but that don't always make up for the bad. First of all the toilets were dirty and not cleaned from the prior visit. My wife went to office to get cleaning supplies and cleaned it herself. Everything is old and not taken care of well although I do have to say that the beds were comfortable. We checked the mattress for bed bugs and none were present. The continental breakfast was a waffle only although it was good along with the coffee. Would not stay here again.
