National Heisey Glass Museum - Museum in Newark - 169 W Church St, USA

Amazing large display of glass from Heisey glass company. If you have a appreciation for fine glass. I recommend a visit to this important collection at the Heisey museum in Newark Ohio. Wife and I visited the museum on a Friday. Admission is a reasonable $5 per person. I’d guess our walk through lasted just over an hour and a half.

The Heisey Glass Museum is a very beautiful piece of history. The glass is timeless. I am new to glass collecting myself, but am happy to now have a membership to appreciate this glass for many years to come.

I'm not a collector but I love obscure museums. My wife and I spent about 2 hours here and it was quite enjoyable. What we learned from our visit now has us checking glass items in antique stores for the Heisey stamp. Well worth the visit.

My husband and I have visited the National Heisey Glass Museum twice! My mother-in-law is a huge Heisey collector, so our first trip was as a recon mission. The second trip was much to the enjoyment of both his parents and ourselves. I highly recommend this museum if you collect ANY glassware! They not only have fantastic displays, but a wonderful presentation on the glass making process. I love that they have a section completely dedicated to "famous" glass which was used as a movie prop or commissioned for a special purpose. The displays are impeccable and well organized. I suggest the guided tour. The enthusiast inside you will be thrilled!

A very fun place to visit. You will learn a lot of cool and interesting things. The glass is amazing. Highly recommend this .

Took the day to check out the Heisey Glass Museum. Definitely a hidden gem located in Newark.

Very interesting glass museum. The ladies were quite friendly. It's a small fee and a self-guided walking tour showcasing what must have been thousands of various glass pieces donated over the years. Various colors, styles, and items, including punch bowls, ashtrays, cigarette boxes with ashtrays, wine glasses, cordial glasses, champagne flutes, and much much more in just about every color on the rainbow spectrum. 4 different age groups attended the youngest 9 and a half oldest in the mid-70s and all enjoyed. Not sure younger than 9 would be a great idea as it is glass and several pieces were tipped over already...

I could have spent days looking and drooling over the beauty of the glass. Learned so much and need to go back
