An often missed museum but worth checking out. You get to learn about the history of the National Guard and their importance from past to present. Plus it's close to Union Station and the The Postal Museum.
This museum is a free museum. To enter you have to push the button on the box on the right-hand side of the door and tell them you are there for the museum. This museum is excellent. The visitor learns more about the National Guards' history and the service they have provided to the citizens of the United States. I got so interested in the museum that I forgot to take photos. A very interesting museum where the exhibits are well done.
İt is pretty small but cute museum. Even If you have less time, you can visit there
Very nice building with office space above NGAUS offices for use of events and a museum for the Nationak Guard downstairs. A piece of military history to bring your state heros more to home
This is a small yet well done museum dedicated to the Army and Air National Guard. You have to buzz into the building but down the stairs you will find the museum which tells the story of the Guard from the earliest colonial militias to today along with a Medal of Honor Room. There are even two model displays of uniforms of the National Guard and aircraft of the Air Guard. Worth a stop and free to visit.
What an amazing place. The museum truly honors and represents the National Guard Well
I had a wonderful experience here. It has the perfect balance of things to read, multimedia and recordings, and actual memorabilia. The docent, Will, was eager to answer any questions. The guy at the desk was helpful and polite. Definitely worth your time.
