National City Motel - Motel in National City - 510 National City Blvd, USA

Booked online. Upon checking in at the counter the man behind the window is saying there is a required $20 cash deposit. I told the gentleman there was not any notice of this policy online and he proceeded to keep saying “$20 cash deposit”. That was first issue. Another thing is that the rooms are not clean at all. Sheets were dirty, the towels were dirty as well as the shower curtains. Which is funny because pervious comments said the maid was worried about her customers returning dirty towels, when they were dirty to begin with. Only good thing was it was affordable and close to disney

OK place to stay! Close to freeways. Not far from downtown San Diego. BUT over time owner has let the place deteriorate. And the maid is way to worried about HER towels being dirty when you check out! No real communication with the owner as time went on as he became greedy and money hungry. Oh well.

I rather not say, but what I will speak about is the ladies of the night are plentiful their pimps are on the low, it was very difficult to communicate to staff and I had no choice, my advise is to move on to another motel in the area, Sorry Yall, you should of treated me better Cherry

THIS PLACE IS A BIG SCAM, MY WIFE AND KIDS WENT HERE OVER MEMORIAL WEEKEND AND STAYED 1 NIGHT, THEY CHARGED US FOR ANOTHER NIGHT A COUPLE DAYS LATER, AND AGIAN A FEW DAYS AFTER THAT. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. DO NOT STAY HERE

My wife and I was blatantly Discriminated against by the attendant which is a older gentleman is considered to be the manager.We arrived at 9:45 and waited until the housekeeper urged me to go to the office and try to check in which was 11 am. Another regular guest had arrived She has stated that our room was ready since we were regular guests and the we prepayed it. After going to the office ,the wife of the older gentleman told me to come back in 30 minutes. The other guest stated that he was going to go and check in, the wife told him come back in 10 minutes .After 10 minutes I went in and the older gentleman was there and before I could say anything he told me to come back at 2 pm. 3 hours later. The other guest that's a regular, stated that he was going to check in and get his room. The other guest went back in the office and was checked in by the older gentleman and heading to his room with a smile on his face. I was so so upset because of the older man blatantly discriminated against us by not allowing us to check in even when the housekeeper urged me to go and check in because our room was ready.Then I went back in the office to find out why I couldn't check in ,but he checked in another guest that happen to be a different race. He lied and said that the guest paid an early check in fee.I questioned the other guest and he told me no he didn't pay an early check in fee. He even stated that this was discrimination. So after waiting another hour the older attendant checked me in. He is arrogant, and very very unpleasant. IT'S ALL RECORDED ON THE SECURITY SYSTEM.

After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical about staying here for our San Diego trip but the room was perfect. Air conditioning worked, fresh towels every day, clean room. WiFi also worked. Friendly staff. 5/5 would recommend.

Front desk young guy really rude I will not be spending my money here dude hates his life

I make a reservation online but they don’t accept it once i get there. And i have to pay again in cash for a same room that i placed a reservation. The only good thing is that the company who made my reservation refund me my money. Because the person in charge of the lobby tells me he can do nothing for me because i do online and was my fault.
