You are warmly welcomed when you enter their store. They take their time to get to know you and what you are looking for. The people are very knowledgeable about their products and how they are used. The employees act like one big family. Their prices were equal to or less than Amazon and some other big box stores.
Went in looking for running shoes and Tim Murphy was fantastic to work with! He was friendly, helpful and all around gracious. A great reminder to shop local at places like this, where they really care about people.
Couldn’t love this store more. It’s a hidden gem for towns nearby like Wellesley. Has so much, but awesome especially for hockey equipment. Way better than traditional big box stores and even some specialized ones known to New Englanders. This store earns the love on their own but also it’s a nice bonus to support a local place. Customer service is fantastic. I love how they hire nice local kids and properly train them. My only recommendation to them is to invest into Google ads a bit to get more traffic/business from my town and others. For example, when I google “hockey store/equipment near me” this place doesn’t even populate and it’s less than 3 miles from me! I was lucky enough to just want to go and browse when I drove by it one day and felt like I hit the jackpot. Keep up the great work!!!
This place rocks. They've got everything (and more) that you could need for the outdoors, and their prices are super reasonable. They're also incredibly friendly and easy-going (we take the kiddos who like to run around and check out the bait), and it actually feels a bit like an activity when we go :). Very grateful for this place!
I bought a knife here two days ago as a Christmas gift. I discovered binding in the knifes opening and closing mechanism and brought it back to have it looked at and or replaced as to get a gift to my friend on time. Not only was I accused of not buying the knife at the store I was also informed that they were too busy to do anything about it until January! So much for customers come first I guess. Now I have to wait 4-5 weeks to get it replaced through the manufacturer. EDIT: I was not in the store for twenty minuets for you guys to help me. I was at the counter for less than ONE minuet before i was accused of not buying the knife there, and then informed there was nothing that could be done. I left came back with the box to prove I bought it there and when I came back the person who sold me the knife helped me out not the original staff member I interacted with. I did not touch any of the bolts, and the two people who handled the knife agreed something was wrong. I feel like the store is gaslighting me. Why would I have you guys send it in for warranty for me after a negative interaction?? 2nd EDIT: Reading back through your response again and the line, 'we spent twenty minuets with you to resolve your problem quickly and efficiently", rubs me the wrong way. I was not respected by the first staff I encountered. I spent more time in my car figuring out the next course of action. To only come back inside and have someone try for 5 minuets while the original person said to them multiple times. "I told them I could work on it after the holidays." If you wanted to keep my business then was the chance.
This place is great. I was here visiting from out of town and needed a rod and reel. The guy working the fishing area introduced himself, and was super helpful with a recommendation, and even put some braid on my new reel for me. 10/10.
Best shopping experience for footwear! Overall, much better than a big box store. Service oriented.
Great Store! The best staff here too. They're all very knowledgeable.
I love every concert I've gone through there. I'm a professional musician and I've also performed there and they take very good care of their audience. Is fully handicapped accessible just be aware that the bathrooms are on the basement or the second
