The perfect small town neighborhood bar. Great music. Awesome regulars. And excellent bartenders. And very friendly and inviting to newcomers.

It was a great networking event with my Durham Regional Association of Realtors at our Summer Solstice. The atmosphere was awesome! I had a conversation with a few of the locals and we discussed the blues, entrepreneurship and everything in between.

Fun local pub, warm and friendly. Bill West in residence every Tuesday. A genuine treat. Once a month Beer and Hymns is a do not miss!!!

Came on a Wednesday night, really chill. Bartender is super sweet! Service is great. Love a great hole in the wall bar.

Music, Guinness , TV, full bar, & live band on a corner stage. Friends and groups gather. More like a neighborhood pub. All the bartenders have been nice. I left this in draft for a few days and just after work today and a couple Red Clay Ramblers were singing, playing guitar and fiddling! In a bench seat in the middle of the bar. Two Boston Terriers were at the end seats w loving owners. Ours were at home, where they act their best.

It's not the best bar in town but it's a pretty good one. They've got live music a lot, most of which is pretty good and some of it is even great. The prices are not great but not bad and the drinks are poured very adequately. You probably aren't going to get a light pour but don't expect to ever get a heavy one either. The bartenders make a decent mixed drink and are very friendly. The average guest here is also very friendly. This is a good place to go and meet some new friends or chat with old ones. But it is also a good place to just go and have a couple of drinks while you read a good book, just so long as there's no live music at the time you go for that. They don't serve any food here but there is complementary popcorn so there's something to munch on. And you're welcome to bring in food from somewhere else. Hillsborough BBQ right down the street will even hand deliver there if you walk over, order and pay up front. Overall a solid choice for a small bar in town.

To me it has a great dive bar feel with all positive vibes. Staff is awesome and just a great place to hang out whether sitting inside or out. Has drafts, bottles/cans and mixed drinks.

Lovely beer selection with a goodly amount of seating both indoors and out. Trivia on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 8 pm with Quizmaster Richard is a must do! (Bring a ✒ for trivia.) Ample parking across the street in the gravel lot. No food served here so they sometimes have food trucks, but you can always bring in your own.
