A very nice beach but too crowded for my tastes which is the principle reason for 3 stars. Other tastes vary so if you like activity and crowds its 5 stars. I spent a far amount of time exploring the tide pools at the south end, better than average and watched turtles feeding on the rocks just a few feet away.
Parking was easy and close, but no facilities- bathroom food water etc except for resort guests.
Napili Bay was an absolute paradise during my recent trip to Maui. From the moment I set foot on that powdery white sand, I knew I was in for something special. The beach here is postcard-perfect – soft, white sand that feels like walking on clouds. The water was crystal clear and inviting. I spent hours snorkeling, and the underwater world was like something out of a National Geographic documentary. Colorful fish and vibrant coral formations were right there, just a few strokes from the shore. The backdrop of lush greenery and those mesmerizing views of the Pacific Ocean, especially during sunset, were absolutely captivating. I couldn't get enough of those golden hours on the beach. Napili Bay offers a range of activities for everyone as well. I paddle boarded, kayaked and swam a bunch over the time I was there. Plus, there are hiking trails nearby for those wanting to explore Maui's natural beauty if water isn’t all your thing. While it's not overly commercialized, you'll find some wonderful vacation rentals and a few charming restaurants nearby. It strikes the perfect balance between convenience and preserving the natural charm of the bay. However parking does get a little hectic especially with nearby construction that has been going on for a few years. Make sure to secure a safe spot on the side of the road. Overall, Napili Bay exceeded all my expectations. It's a hidden gem on Maui, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for a slice of paradise with a more relaxed vibe, Napili Bay is the place to be!!
Easily the best sandy beach in all of Maui!!! When you walk up, to the left and right is equally impressive inside of this bay setting. The sand stretches across the bay and is soft; easily the best beach for kids from infants to teenagers.
Snorkeling is surprisingly a treat as well, especially once you venture out past the waves and you get to some low/shallow coral sections that expose countless small crevices to explore and find sea life; witnessed over 18 different types in one outing.
The views are spectacular and the bay is fairly protected from the wind. It is definitely worth the drive from wherever you are on Maui to see for yourself. If you are not staying immediately around the bay, parking can be a challenge, as there is limited free street parking. Regardless, a must stop visit on your Maui trip!
Nice snorkel area with tons of different fish and turtles. You can also rent a paddle board for about $50 an hour, there are also waterproof phone bags and other swimming essentials at the little shop right on this beach. Parking might be a problem but you are able to park on the street, you just have to walk a little ways.
This is a great little beach! Lots of sea turtles around all day long and a beautiful place to watch the sunset. We did some great snorkeling here and saw a wide variety of fish. It did get crowded around mid-day but there was always a spot for people to set up. I would recommend coming early if you want a good spot. Lots of kids on this beach due to the gentle waves.
This has to be my favorite beach on Maui. It is a sandy beach with patches of reef. It is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Ocassionally, you will come across some turtles. As another review mentioned, its surrounding features protect it from the windy weather as well.
Looked for photos online. I really wanted to go to Kapalua Bay Beach. Because of more affordable pricing, got a place at Napili Bay Beach,, 3 minutes walk from the beach. Traveled to all the beaches. This is the nicest one in the whole Maui.
Nice beach, but can definitely get crowded! Reef seems to have suffered a bit over the years, but still lots of fun stuff to see!
Our guide, Danielle, was knowledgeable and fun. We visited with our 10 yr old granddaughter who liked holding the flowers for the butterflies to land on and holding the monarch butterflies. The tour was definite worth the time and money. As an a

I can't say enough good about this small, locally-owned business! My son and I dove with Zach on two occasions and both were great experiences. He was very patient and safety conscious throughout the process, as this

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lahaina! The hotel is very conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the reserved parking is right up the street. We stayed in their Queen City View Lanai as we knew we would b
Totally loved the vibe of this little cafe! Thereâs not a lot of local breakfast optionâs around Lahaina, but this was on point. We had the best açaà bowl of our life and the Silas was top notch. Affordable and great place for local breakfas
My favorite beach park when looking for a spot to relax in the shade where I donât have to make it a sandy day unless I want it to be. The beautiful monkeypod trees make lots of shade. Sadly some of the big trees were lost in recent storm but most

My family pulled into this park to catch the sunset one evening, and it was beautiful! We enjoyed listening to the waves come in and then wash over the rocks. It was a very calming sound.
