Great spot to grab lunch right on the board walk. I ordered the Volcano Roll and Philadelphia Roll that were pretty good. I had ordered a Dirty Banana frozen drink but didn’t care for it too much so Virginia our server was sweet to swap it out and I selected something I enjoyed much better. Service was quick. We sat upstairs outside under the covered roof top deck overlooking the boats coming in and it was a beautiful breezy day. Really enjoyed starting the day here as it had the beachy island vibes.
With mixed advice that this is a must-try island establishment and a never-go place, we did what visitors do and we tried it out. Visitors go for the views and vibe. If you time it just right, you'll be able to see the sunset over one of the main harbors in Oak Bluffs. Our experienced was mixedm The drinks are average though loaded with liquor. My two companions were very disappointed in their fish and chips. My shrimp and grits was delicious and the tomato-bacon infusion gave the yellow cornmeal grits an extra flavoring. The mediterranean platter was an excellent table starter and an important way to get veggies that are so rare on the island. Service was friendly and according to need, and was especially impressed with how much the bar tender could do. Not sure I would go again but was glad to try it out.
I recommend anyone looking at this to sit inside the restaurant instead of the quick serve, it’s worth it for the amazing service. Everyone was super friendly, the food was amazing and so were the drinks.
My top recommendation is the hummus and the clam chowder as it’s creamy and delicious!
Food is ok. They will overcharge because of the location. They do give more lobster than others on the island. It's worth trying. The fries look very good however I didn't try them.
Overpriced for the size and the quality of the Sushi. Fish Tacos were overpriced too. Clam chowder was good. Service was great. Staff were awesome. Atmosphere was great as well.
Had a wonderful time catching up with a friend at Nancy's. The streamed lobster meal was delightful and filling with potatoes and corn to accompany it! Most of the guests were families or friends enjoying the food with a view. And you never can go wrong with a dirty banana 🍌 if you like to drink!!
Dine in there around 5 pm on Wednesday. It’s not a peak season yet and not busy at all. We get the mussel and chowder fries for appetizer, most mussel are not fresh, the fries obviously mixed with old batch and new one. So, we only exchange the fries with calamari. Thanks God, at least the calamari is ok to eat. Then, we have lobster roll, bake cod, fish taco and linguine with clam to share with six of us. All the ingredients sounds good but coming out are all terrible. Food quality is same as Applebees or equivalent style restaurants. The manner of the server is fine but they wouldn’t give you a fresh plate after our appetizer without requesting. It’s quite a big restaurant by the water. With 4.3 rating in Google, I’m very disappointed.
There was a long wait when we got here, so we grabbed the bar tables on the outdoor deck and had the most amazing view of the water and the gingerbread houses. The food was really delicious, and it was beautiful to sit and enjoy a sunny summer day here.
Who knew a bowling alley could have such great food?
We were skeptical when we were told how good the food is at Barn Bowl & Bistro, but having been there about a dozen times now, we're convinced. They serve up great dishes with consistency and at a
We had a wonderful 2 night stay for a wedding in the area. The check in process was easy, David was very friendly! Made it feel like staying with a friend. Our room was very clean and updated nicely. The bathroom is a little small but certainly ample
New fresh takes on MV gear that are timeless yet on trend. Quality material that holds up after several washes. Picture below with Roger the owner. Kind sweet man. Highly recommend.
We made a reservation weeks in advance to make sure we got in, and I'm so glad we did. Everyone that worked there was so friendly, and the decor is so cute. While all the food and drinks were delicious, the vegan crab cakes were absolutely incredible
Fantastic experience with this place. The staff was super friendly and attentive - their presence added even more warmth to the storybook charm of the hotel and the hotel's incredible central location. The rooms are cute and clean, and offer a view (
WOW! It was absolutely gorgeous here! We attended the last day celebration at the Inkwell site in Waban Park. EVERYONE was totally happy, friendly and welcoming! There was plenty of free food, deserts and beverages. There were about 5 of us from our
My sister-in-law and I came to Marthaâs Vineyard for the first time. It did not disappoint! The staff throughout the Pequot Hotel were pleasant and always went out of their way way to make things perfect. We stayed in room 12 that had two twin beds
Ok, so we spend a few day in MV and natucket. We were really dissapointed with food at the 7 restaurant we went for lunches and dinner. Not here. This is a gem of a place. Im glad its not superpacked like the other touristy places. They have more tim
What a treat to experience the oldest platform carousel ride in America! Give little ones a heads up that the horses are stationary - unlike todayâs amusement park horses. Plus, donât miss out on the ring game. Try to win a free ride by grabbing
I don't like to use superlatives really... And I'd absolutely consider myself a foodie. But I can unequivocally say: this was one of the top 5 meals I've had in my entire life. Holy moly. I was almost in tears when I had the first bites.
We ordered
