I was working late this evening and picked up an order of the wings and I have to say these are the best wings I've had in very long time. Thank you so much I will be coming back soon.
[Updated Review] I really love eating here, the food is so good and very comforting to me. My favorite food is chicken tenders with mac n cheese and some cornbread. I get it literally every time HAHA Also the employees are very nice and hard working. Hope this place stays around for a long time. Shoutout to Cole, Keisha, Kara, and Amy for the awesome service and food!!
Nana's place is awesome. Their catfish is way better than Twin lakes catfish farm. All their food is amazing. Amy was an awesome waitress. Very friendly, professional, and good at her job. Kara was an amazing cook. My favorite place to eat in Gainesboro
A cozy, mom and pop diner, with great southern food and hospitality! We had the Pulled Pork Baked Potato and Fried Catfish with Fried Okra and Baked Beans. I can’t tell ya which is better because they both were absolutely delicious and (side note: I’m sure we looked like Neanderthals that had never ate cooked food before because we both kept taking a bite, shaking our heads in approval, and then swapping plates, repeat.) the Okra was just as good. I do wish they had squash because I know it would not disappoint. We opted for dessert to go because we were so full and impressed we didn’t want to leave no stone unturned. We had the Hot Lava Cake and the Butterfinger Cake. Both hit the sweet tooth! We have already talked about what we are trying next when we return but both agree it’s going to be hard to choose. We are so glad we found this little diner and homestyle southern food just like our mama’s and grandmama’s made.
We both had pulled pork with potatoes, green beans, French fries and Cole slaw. Everything was very good. Our waitress was very good and attentive. We'll definitely be back!
Tasty fried green tomatoes and fried fish and affordable! Great with ranch dressing!
First time to stop here. We will be back. Fish was good, tartar sauce was excellent, and the pulled pork was out of this world! Tender, just a hint of smoke, and pretty sure he was making his own molasses based sauce. And fast friendly service. Worth stopping in even if it is out of your way.
We got 3 plates and I got the hot buffalo wings with fried pickles. The fried pickles were great but the wings literally tasted nothing like buffalo, there was practically no sauce on them and they were overcooked, even dipping them in the sauce didn't save them cause it wasn't spicy at all. Not sure if I just went on a bad day, but I was definitely disappointed. Everyone else enjoyed their food and the wait was short.

Popular place for being in the middle of no where. Drive really pretty coming in from the South. Treacherous windy roads up the mountain in the last leg of the trip. This is a local hang out spot and not easy to find. Worn trails leading in and small
GREAT âMeat and Threeâ very much worth the quick (~10 min) drive off of I-40. Great food. Great prices. Great service. Great down-home atmosphere. Super clean. ððððð FOOD: I like to try local shops that give a flavor of the foods
Great place and customer service is awesome. The new store manager is great. He has brought alot of good things out of his employees now. The meat department is also great w/ anything you may need they get to whatever you ask of them right away.. Kee
