Nalan Indian Cuisine - Indian restaurant in Lemoyne - 829 State St #2008, USA

This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at in USA. All the dishes had an authentic taste and were very flavorful. We tried their chicken 65, samosa chart, chicken tandoori, prawn biryani and the egg curry. Absolutely every dish was amazing. Mayesh offered a highly hospitable service.

Nalan is indeed the best , I repeat , the best Indian restaurant in the greater Harrisburg area. I eat out a lot and I am saying that with responsibilities. I have been there many times and their food never disappointed me. I would recommend Goat Pepper fry with Paratha. This is the best among all the items they offer, in my opinion. Last time we went there we had chicken tandoor, fried rice and goat pepper fry with paratha. I also liked their fried rice a lot. Chicken tandoor came with two quarter legs. They cooked it very good. We thought we would take one of the legs as a take out. But ended up eating there, because it was that good. The atmosphere there is fine. Though I believe their seating capacity needs to be increased. It is a small restaurant with limited seating capacity. During weekends the crowd is more. The staffs are super cool. They are friendly and take care of the customers very well. They are fast in providing service as well. Therefore, I didn’t find anything that would take my rating down from 5. In all aspects they deserve a 5, from what I experienced so far.

Delicious food and friendly service. The Naan really hit the spot, (I was craving some good naan!) I enjoyed the butter chicken, and ate it all!! Can't wait for my next visit to try something else on the menu.

My granddaughter and I enjoyed the Kal Dosa, she the chicken and I the vegetable. They flavors were so wonderful!! I wish I lived near her. But if you're in the neighborhood you MUST try them.

**If my review is helpful, please click on the "LIKE" button...thank you!** Great little Indian restaurant tucked away in the corner of a plaza in Lemoyne! We drove 45 minutes just so that we could taste their Kothu Parotta, as that particular dish is very popular in the part of India that we're from (Nagercoil, at the southern tip of India). Their version is a little different from the Nagercoil version, but still good! Their shrimp curry was SPECTACULAR, and their sarbath was excellent! Seating is a bit limited, but luckily we beat the rush and were seated immediately. Service is attentive and outstanding! This is a busy place, not just for dining in, but for take-out as well, as evidenced by the constant flow of people stopping by to pick up their orders...that's always a good indicator of the food quality at a restaurant, right? 😀 Well worth our 45-minute drive, and you should definitely give it a try! 😃

Our host/server was Mahesh, who was friendly and welcoming. He described the menu items to help us decide. The restaurant is very clean, simple layout, tasteful decor. The food was outstanding. We were with an Indian friend who also helped us choose our menu items and who was very happy with her food. Most of the other patrons were Indian as well so we think the food is authentic and very delicious! We will certainly return soon.

This is only my second time here, but that's because I drove down from New Hampshire! Everything I've had has been perfection. You can honestly taste the care, the love, that goes into creating the dishes here. As long as Nalan is here, it is a permanent stop when I'm in the general area.

Best Indian food I’ve had in the east coast. If you’ve travelled to India or was fortunate enough to have an Indian roommate who cooks you’d know. I’ve only had take out every time I’m in Harrisburg but the place seems very family friendly and good energy.
