Highly disappointed. The egusi soup was not good at all, had NO flavor and they put beef w/ stew on top of it making the soup sweet. Not sure why they would do that. I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I ordered. I wasted my money. Also, the portion was small.
If I could give 10 stars I would! As a fellow Nigerian it’s been hard to find good Nigerian food out here but Naija Cuisine has changed the game, the flavour, the spice everything was amazing I highly recommend
I want to leave an honest review. I visited this place for the first time yesterday. FOOD: 4/5 --- The jollof rice and plantains were AMAZING however the chicken didn't taste seasoned. It did pair well with the rest of the dish but was bland by itself. The dish seemed fresh and came out hot. I liked that. SERVICE: 5/5 --- The young cashier was extremely nice, attentive and professional. ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 --- I understand renovations are taking place however it seemed too dim for it to be 3 PM. I also noticed rice on the floor and things that should've been swept up. PRICE: 5/5: This place is very affordable and they serve nice size portions. It was cheaper ordering in the store than online. I liked how affordable this restaurant is.
Came on a Thursday night, the place looks neat and amazing. The service was also great. However, the food was terrible. I ordered Egusi soup and it was the worst I’ve ever tasted. It is not seasoned, texture was off and tasted bitter. I had other Egusi before but this one disappointed me. My main spot for Egusi soup is Ayo African Cuisine on Austell Road and I only went here because they were closed. I’ll just stick to my original location.
I found this spot randomly and it was a pleasant surprise , I came back again soon after. I think it’s better when I get it in person versus delivery but that might just be the one time. Jollof rice and the meats are very good
Had amala night for the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of my high school reunion! We sure had a good time! Clean and conducive environment! VIP section with good music and fantastic sumptuous amala with abula ! Courteous staff with great customer service! Neat and clean rest room.. I will recommend them anytime
The food was very good!!! We had yam porridge and banga soup and it was a hit! Made with fresh ingredients and oil. The asun?! 🔥🤤 They could do better with revamping the look of the place and cleanliness. Not bad but it could be better. Otherwise, really tasty meals, I’d definitely go back again.
Food was incredible, people were fantastic and so nice. I will definitely be returning because I feel compelled to try more of their menu after such a wonderful meal!
