Its a fun place. Been there numerous times. This time was Halloween themed in decorations. Fun. Most of the food was good but this time a lesser quality of prime rib was used and it was hard to cut and very chewy. We rented out the room for an Anniversary, and everyone had the same opinion. For the price, opt for better quality meat please, otherwise not worth it. If they tidy the food quality up, its a great time.
This was a fun experience that is perfect if you're looking for something unique. I was genuinely surprised with how much I enjoyed the food. The up close magic was also very impressive to see & the gentleman performing the night we went was very funny & entertaining. They serve you all your courses first before the show which helps keep your attention during the magic. They do a little interaction & magic in between courses with the host (not featured magician) which helps because it is a little awkward being in a small room of other people who you may not know. It can be a bit quiet & conversation does take some warming up but it is a good opportunity to meet people. Note that because there's a show involved & multiple courses, you don't have a lot of time between courses given they're on a strict timeline. So if you're a slow eater like me you'll end up taking some leftovers home (which isn't the worst considering how much food you get)!
We parked in the parking garage a couple of blocks away, easy walk to Mystic. They have a small waiting room in the front but won't let you in early. Better not to show up early. We really enjoyed the magician Ryan Kane, he was performing that day. You would have to see who is performing when you go. It was about two and half hours and the staff was wonderful. The food was good too.
Loved this concept. Went for the Halloween theme. The atmosphere was amazing. Food was top-notch. Great service. The only reason for 4 stars is that the magic was terrible. I'll return for the Christmas show.
This was our second time visiting in 6 months. We really enjoyed our time. This time, we brought our kids and my mother-in-law (her first time). She really enjoyed the magician, Chris from Chico. We really enjoyed Chris. His tricks were mesmerizing. His humor was candid. His assistants (patrons from the audience) were great. The food was awesome yet again. Quality was great, and portion size. The service was professional and inviting. The ombionce was fitting. We will definitely be returning.
Wow! Amazing. This was a Christmas present and did not disappoint. I had such a wonderful evening. The staff were so nice and attentive. The dining room and decor is medieval meets Houdini. Stately. You get a 5 course delicious meal and then an intimate magic show. We say Larry and he was hilarious and wonderful. All of the courses were excellent - I'm a foodie and was impressed. I had cucumber canapes, salad, sorbet, prime rib (what I selected for an entree), and carrot cake. We had a nice time chatting with the people we sat next to. We sat at the head of the table - it was nice because we had a nice view of the room and it was only the two of us at the end. The magic show was very engaging - lots of audience participation :)
The workouts are AMAZING because you never do the same thing twice. All the exercises work multiple muscle groups at the same time and you combine that with the interval training and I'm burning lots of calories. It's not uncommon for me to burn 700
