This is my favorite spot for coffee, ambience, and vegan food. The people are down to earth, warm, and authentic... Coffee recipes are unique and delicious, and vegan options are amazing. I want to try everything on the menu but so far the sorizo burrito and franky four fingers latte is high up on the list. ^_^
Came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Was able to find an outdoor table. It’s a small cute cafe, and even with the good reviews on google, I didn’t have high expectations for some reason. I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes didn’t look that special but both the scramble and sandwich were very tasty. The sandwich buns were nice and warm. Latte was good but not amazing. They had a solid selection of hot sauces which added to the fun. Would definitely eat here again.
Awesome! Fabulous! Neighborhood maker!
I’m not sure I have the eloquence to fully describe my love and luck for living near this gem! To start- great coffee, great vibe, great people. Then add dog friendly, vegan friendly, vegetarian friendly and local business friendly. And we don’t stop there… now mix in good music, fun decor and lots of awesome sun filled picnic tables. Oh and if you are around later there is also beer and wine available. But what I like best is the thought behind everything they do- from fundraisers for childhood cancer and Christmas presents for an orphanage to organic options and supporting local options for their drinks and pastries.
Eat and drink here to feel good and enjoy good tasty bites;) feed your soul and your belly!
Spotted this corner gem the other day and finally checked it out around 12 on a Sunday. At their peak hours you can still grab one of the many large tables and enjoy some amazing coffee. Their menu is a delicious take on traditional Mexican with fresh options such as the open faced bruschetta style bagel. The vegan tamales, chilaquiles (vegan available) and the scramble are bomb . Perfect for a lazy morning and accommodating to all who love food.
This place is awesome! What a great little neighborhood breakfast/lunch/coffee shop! The service is excellent, staff is very friendly! The food is soooooo good! If you find yourself wandering around University Heights, stop in and check it out! Also they are dog friendly!
Highly recommend the breakfast tacos with tofu bacon, it was absolutely delicious and tasted like I was camping with the smokiness from the tofu bacon. Plus, the Thai tea is super tasty iced!
Great little place tucked away in a quiet street corner with WiFi that’s a decent speed and drinks that are pretty good. There isn’t onsite parking but there’s plenty of adjacent street parking.
Couple minor complaints though that don’t affect the overall experience: if you do remote work and want to do so here, they do some funky IPv4 addressing on their WiFi so I ended up using my hotspot to do work. Also prices aren’t exactly clear, but it’s around $5 and it seems like most add ons aren’t extra so it’s very fair.
Really good coffee and pastries. Atmosphere is cozy. Surrounding area is nice. Been going there for years.
Very fun and cute place to grab coffee and take time to enjoy. This is definitely one of most interesting coffee shops Iâve ever been, the decorations are so cool and unique. I see people enjoy working at here, since they have nice seats and couche
Found this place randomly when I was out and about one morning. Great little outdoor space. Friendly service and a great latte. Iâll definitely be going back
Great neighborhood coffee spot with their own roasting. Bagel sandwiches are delicious. The owners are super friendly and so is the staff. This is the place where you get great coffee, food and friendly greeting. Always a treat for the dogs too.
My go-to coffee shop for not overly sweetened drinks. Love their pumpkin spice is more spice than most places and the mocha is more dark chocolate than milk. Sometimes I get the beans for home.
Great place to get some work done! Itâs open air and
A wonderful gem in north park. Itâs worth the small walk out of the center to come and try Genteel!
Phenomenal espresso- a Mexican blend. When tried the aroma isnât how it smelt, which was quite acidic. The flavor was delightful, fruity, nutty,
Tasty coffee, neat place.
We were visiting San Diego from Mexico and I wanted a specialty coffee, so thanks to Google maps for sending me here.
We just tried beverages, no food, but the coffee was so delicious. The nitro cold brew was so refreshing a
Yummy coffee spot! It is a very small and sorta awkward drive thru because you could block other cars from trying to get out. They seem to have special drinks for each month! I loved the Irish mint iced coffee really creamy and minty. However if you
What a delightful place with great coffee and great ambiance. I loved the coffee I got and the peanut butter cookie. I met the owner at my open house prior to visiting this shop, happened by the shop on accident, tried the coffee and cookie upon sugg
