This is a great KOA for families. Very kid friendly and lots to do. Location to surrounding tourist areas is great. My issue was the laundry room and store. They needed to be cleaned. I’m highly allergic to pet hair/dander. It would have helped if the laundry room had been kept swept, dusted, and mopped. I can avoid the store. But when traveling the laundry area is essential. Also out of the 5 washers - 3 were out of order. And out of the 6 dryers - 4 were out of order. The dryers’ lint traps don’t seem to be checked or cleaned. I had to clean what looked like fruity pebbles out of mine. I took my allergy medicine but even then I couldn’t stay in either area for longer than 5 minutes. If laundry room and store had been clean - it would rate a 5.

We tent camped at KOA. I can say they are good about cleaning. Bathrooms were for the most part solid. Pools- one was closed, the other smaller pool was very murky and crowded. Plenty of things for kids to do there. They have a huge space in the center, a pavilion where they do activities, swings, small dog park, two pools like mentioned before, slides, playground, huge jump pad, basketball court, tennis I think, arcade and store. The reason I gave little stars is when we needed them they weren't there. They say if you have any concerns contact their after hours number. It was pouring rain and our campsite flooded and our tents insides got wet. We had two tents one for my husband and I, and one for our boys. Their tent could not be used to sleep in again. Our had a small area that got wet on the inside. I called and left a message and no response what-so-ever from them. Luckily, All the campers around us were one party and had left that day. So because we had no help with this issue and it was supposed to pour again, all night, I took matters into my own hands and we moved our tents under a picnic gazebo of one of the other sites. It worked and we left the next day. Another reason for the lower stars review is there is no one to check to see if you are a registered camper. They have a sign that says to stop and register first but no direction as far as where to register and nothing stopping you from just going right through. I went into the store and asked and they say "right here!" As though I've been there a hundred times. Nowhere does it say to register in the store...and the fact no one is outside checking cars basically means anyone can go in and it's not a very safe feeling, I guess. Two other small things are the tent sites are not clean. At least mine wasn't. There was a huge pile of what looked like spaghetti tossed off to the side and the ground looks like people are just dumping liquids wherever. As well as burn spots in areas other than the fire pit and you hear the highway all night. That's my long rant. Maybe I just had an off weekend camp trip... I can't say because I've only stayed the one time.

I love this campground! I hit different campgrounds all season long. This has become one of my favorites! No Gestapo tactics about buying their wood or being thrown out if I bring in outside wood! I. Can take in my e-bike! Clean grounds and friendly helpful staff in an incredible location! From a guy that has seen firsthand the money grab camping has unfortunately become thank you for a well needed breath of fresh air! I already can't wait to come back next year!

We highly recommend Mystic! Only our 5th RV trip...After a long & stormy ride, heavy rain, trees down, etc, we arrived very late. Took a wrong turn in the park and got stuck with our class C towing a vehicle. Found ourselves in the middle of trees & obviously could not back up. Another storm was approaching. Called emergency # within minutes Ken & Steve arrived to our rescue. They assured us they would get us out of this terrible situation. These guys were amazing! Jumped in, got us turned around without a scratch. Actually drove our car to our site and helped us get set with water and power. Dropped in bed at midnight. Everyone was very helpful & provided outstanding customer service , no matter what. (yes, we were the problem family) Had a hot water tank issue. Bathrooms & showers we clean & had good water pressure. Site was clean, loved the round table and big fire pit! Nice dog park. Cannot say enough about the staff. Had several issues, anything we needed we had a response in minutes. There isn't a high enough rating for this level of customer service.||In this day & time with customer service lacking everywhere, this is the most pleasant exp we have ever had, in every way!

My son and his family stayed in a cabin and I stayed in my RV next to them. The staff and service here are amazing and very friendly. A really nice campground with a beautiful pool, playground for the kids and an awesome store! We're already planning to come back next year.

We’ve been coming to this KOA for years. We really enjoy the campground, but this is the second review and I thought somebody would’ve saw the bathrooms photos on the last review. Got in to the campground early yesterday afternoon and went to the bathrooms, they were pretty dirty. Then this morning around 9 AM went in to shower and they have not been cleaned yet, it was 9:00 a.m. or a bit after. This time there was feces on the wall in one of the stalls. Showers were lined with mold around the bottoms. Looks like they haven’t been scrubbed or touched in a while. When you’re in the shower, you stand on wooden slats and God knows what’s under them. They really need to upgrade or update the bathrooms, clean them out and make them easier to keep up. This will probably be the last time we come to this KOA.

The campground is located directly on the highway. Depending on the area, it can be very noisy. Avoid it if you're staying in a tent. The staff at the reception were not very helpful when we mentioned the disturbance. The showers are free but not very well maintained. The pool water was not clear and looked quite questionable. Some sites are really too close together. The fire pits are right next to the RVs. We had to stop making a fire because the neighbor was disturbed by it.

Love this KOA! The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful. Pete the maintenance guy was very helpful. My truck would not start and he went to got his jumpbox. My flag fell when we we gone and he tried to fix for us. You can hear 95 traffic but not to bad in a lot of areas . Bathrooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. We will be back.

First impressions are always the most important. Press on made a great one. As soon as we walked into the clean and well signed restaurant, we were greated by a cheerful woman with a big smile. Off the bat I knew this visit was on the right path. Big
