Mystic Depot Roasters - Cafe in Mystic - 2 Roosevelt Ave, USA

This creative depot conversion offers plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy their delicious, fresh food. The California omelet was filled with large chunks of tomatoes and avocado that were refreshing to eat. Likewise, the caboose breakfast plate offered delicious corned beef hash that wasn't over grilled. Both plates came with tasty homefries that were the perfect size and well seasoned.

Mystic Depot Roasters is a warm, cozy, cafe that invites you to sit in their well worn chairs and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, smoothie, or more. This cafe has tables for conversation, group eats, or laptop work. Mystic Depot Roasters also has a few conversation spots where you can cozy up with a good book or good company. The food is a reasonable price for a high quality. I got the egg sandwich (The Mystic) and the cheese was delightfully melted. I sat with my laptop and a journal and enjoyed the entire experience. A great place to wait for a train or connect with your community. The cafe has two bathrooms, a fireplace, and outdoor seating. There is also a restaurant in the same parking lot, making this Cafe a great place for a holistic visit.

Wonderful atmosphere. Owner is great and well spoken. Cute cozy location in Mystic at the old train station building converted to a restaurant. Also has an Amtrak kiosk in the location and the train stops here for traveling guests. Highly recommend to all locals and any travelers coming through Mystic. Food and drink will not disappoint. Plus they have latte’s! Full coffee menu. Don’t miss it!

Very nice local hang out - am visiting in off season- so no tourists. The service is friendly and vibe, food and coffee good but if you want your espresso in a real cup with lots of crema, this is not your place. Espresso looks and taste like strong cup if brewed coffee.

Had breakfast here this past week. Totally worth the short walk. Great fresh food and excellent coffee. Tried their Flat White, my first. I liked it. Will try again.

The BEST breakfast and lunch in Mystic. Plus the staff is simply awesome. Kelsey (I think that’s her name) is so efficient and has the best sense of humor. I love the ‘railway’ sandwich is a fav, as well as their dynamite bacon egg and cheese sandos. A must go to in mystic.

Coffee is good. Layout is awkward. When it’s busy the line goes right through the seating area. A chaotic environment for enjoying a cup of coffee and reading a book or having a conversation. The chocolate croissant is terrible. Not flaky at all. I took one bite and threw it away.

Let me tell you. This place is so Dam good, ooo-It's good. Fast service, fun environment. Right by the train drop off, even more convenient. The employees are so awesome. Perfect for both a quick drop-in or a sit down a relax. They also have outside sitting, if you have pets or ants kids. Definitely hit the spot, give it a try yourself. Thanks guys, best of luck!
