MyStayLA Hostel/Room Service - Hostel in Los Angeles - 1512 Crenshaw Blvd, USA

I felt super safe and comfortable staying here for a week. The hosts are super friendly, but they don't bother you at all. The rooms are spacious but you only get 1 small pillow. No TV's in the room so I suggest you bring a projector if you like to watch something at night. Bring your own towel. The common spaces are kept clean by all the visitors and hosts. They serve breakfast (cereal, oatmeal) and they have many many cups of noodles so you get to snack when you return. They offer parking space 5$ a night, but there's plenty of parking available in the streets. Laundry is 10$ (washer & dryer). You can ask for keys to the house & room for a 20$ deposit fee. There's also 2 bathrooms + showers. I suggest you avoid it between 7:30 to 9am as thats when everyone wants to use it. I genuinely enjoyed my stay at this hostel so I will be returning again! Strong and Janet are the best I stayed at MystayLA I stayed 2019 and now 2024. The first time it was so MUCH FUN! The energy was beautiful! Nice beds spaces. The bus routes are near by Gus chicken.

Great place, clean. Got some regulars here and the visitors are friendly too. I had to stay here for 2 weeks and it an easy going place. The floors were creeky and I felt bad when I moved around at night. Also the bed made some noise so just watch out. Owner is very professional and prompt. Must have been doing this for some time. This place puts in effort to lively up the place. Give them a try!!

This is my second time here. With cheap price, this hostel is super safe and comfortable! The owners also live here, and they're very nice! Here are many Korean people, which makes me feel even more friendly. Strongly recommend to everyone!

I’m going to be realistic and no bias towards anything. We stayed in this hotel and let me just say that this “hotel” did not even touch our expectations. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands. The sheets had a hole in them. The towels were stained. Only one pillow. No sheets when we arrived. Breakfast options were literally cup noodles and black coffee. This place is a shared space, meaning you have to share a bathroom, kitchen, and no tv btw. No key given so if you want to go out, you cannot be assured that your things will still be there when you come back. The place is also noisy so you won’t be promised a good night’s sleep. Also the room we’re given is a bedroom, not a hotel room. No such thing as personal privacy here, you’ll encounter strangers here in common spaces.

On the outside it just looks like another house, on the inside it's exactly what one might hope to find. A quaint hostel with good beds and a sweet vibe. The service is very personable and everything is very clean. A huge plus is that they're even trying to be as green as possible- recycling, one cup per person, etc.. there's a sense of trust and openness in the air, all set by the wonderful hosts. If you're looking for quality shared rooms for a good price- this is the place for you!

I decided to stay in a new area in California, and staying in MystayLA was amazing. The house is super clean, the guests are also friendly, and the service was perfect. It was a great experience :)

Extremely affordable and nice facility. It's a house that's been converted to a hostel with a nice Asian couple in the front room running the place. I was in the two-bed suite with a friend. It exceeded expectations for the price.
