This is a great camp ground,it’s clean, quiet and office staff and camp personnel, we’re great to deal with. We had a great time. The amenities at the campground are great and we just had a good experience. Can’t go wrong with this place.
We enjoyed staying here, not like a military base and people are just regular people. I don't need much more than to set up, plug in, and mind my own business. Our space #23 was real nice and loved our view to the marshy glade in back
Older RV Resort, difficult to access due to road construction in front of the resort. Spaces are tight and not well maintained. Some campers don't maintain their areas or spaces leaving trash out. Availability in the area was limited so it was the only place available.
Some park models on our end, most in very rough shape. Basic services are present, but don't expect much else. Bathrooms are clean, 4 washers and driers all work and are reasonably priced, office is dated, rates are high for value received. Not sure we can blame all the clutter on Hurricane Ian.
The staff at this rv park are amazing ! The manager goes above and beyond to be helpful, make your stay the best it can be, make you inclusive, and feel welcomed
Demand for RV spots in Florida keeps old rundown places like this open. They don't need to be nice or customer friendly or honest. Online booking services can not be trusted either. They are typically too complicated for owner/operator to understand. That is how they over book. There is no risk for them to over book, just the customer.
I wouldn’t call this a resort but we spent 3 very comfortable nights here last week. We did not experience any of the negatives that prior reviewers mentioned. In fact, the office was never open while we were there, but they got our reservation right and we were very comfortable in the site we were assigned. We felt safe, and had no unusual experiences. We had to pay $10 for 3 days wifi but it worked exceptionally well. The pool is very nice, though we didn’t use it. Our site backed up to the preserve and it was fairly level. If you want shopping and restaurants, turn right, out of the park and you’ll find all you would need 15 minutes east. We feel that the $100 a night fee is excessive but sites were not readily available elsewhere during our stay. We feel that $75 a night would be more in line.
Mismanagement does not do it justice! This is a tired end of lifespan overpriced take your money and run place. This is not a resort! We were squeezed between two run down and should have been abandoned trailers. The place is nothing more than a trailer park with the locals having “smoking” parties in the common room from morning until night. Not to mention that you must walk through the ongoing smoking in order to use the restroom and shower. The men’s shower has only one stall operating. The handicapped shower was out of order. We were never greeted by the manager nor saw anyone working for the entire five day stay. There is not a real island. Overall the expense was not worth $100. Beware!
I had a great time at North Port Art Center. Gale West had an Art of Sound Therapy with crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, rain sticks, tuning forks and more. It was such a fun and relaxing evening. I can't wait for more of her events at the Art Center. ð
Stopped in for the first time the other night. I got 3 dishes to take out. We sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited. Very cute and cozy place. The food was excellent. If I lived in Northport, FL, I would be there all the time. The staf
Wow. Amazing food and service. This place is packed every time I visit the area. I believe it has outgrown itself with all the customers they have. The food is authentic columbian, fresh and good. There is always a line up for food, but service is qu
This complex is amazing compared with the fields in El Paso, TX. The four little league fields are so well groomed, grass, baseline and most definitely the batters boxes. I was so impressed I sent pictures to my 8 YO son so he could see them.
