My Place Hotel-Spokane Valley, WA - Hotel in Spokane Valley - 16106 E Indiana Ave, USA

This was the worst experience we have ever had. I didn't realize that any person could just slap a My Stay brand on any old run down hotel without the promise of the previous experiences we've had in other locations. The parking lot was FULL of beer bottles and twisted tea cans and there were people openly drinking on their tail gates. Check in was awful. No greeting. Just rushing me off. The 'staff' does not care about common courtesy or decency when it comes to their guests in any capacity. The floor we were on was full of grown adults and kids that had their doors propped open, yelling and laughing, and there were screaming kids running up and down the hallways and riding the elevators until after 1AM. I had to ask them several times to be quiet but ultimately ended up getting dressed, going downstairs to demand that the staff actually do something about it. I was met with annoyance and had no communication back from the lady at the front desk, but the staff went up and asked them to be quiet. She left afterwards without a word to me and went back downstairs. What a nightmare.

We have stayed in another My Place before and it was really nice. This one not so much. ||As soon as we entered there was a hole in the wall from the door handle. Cabinets or drawers were broken or falling off. The blind had holes in it. There were grease/dirty marks on the cabinets. The shampoo and body wash bottles on the wall were empty. The bed sheets were all wrinkly and looked like they were old sheets but I think they were just not the crisp ironed sheets you normally get in hotels. ||On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the sound proofing was good (we had noisy families either side of us that you could hear in the hallway but not in our room).||There was a large fridge/freezer and stove top in the room. A small coffee maker. We were just there for the night so I didn’t pay attention to much else. You could order breakfast to your room for $7.50 I think but I don’t know what it includes because we didn’t order it. ||I wouldn’t stay at this location again.

Booked our room 2 months in advance as I needed a handicapped accessible room. When I booked I requested ice in our room which was asked on my booking. After driving 11 hours with an infant and family members late in the evening we just wanted to rest and get clean. The room wasn't exceptional for the cost to stay. After setting up my handicap equipment we turned down the beds and found bugs in both beds, live ones and dead ones. Called manager immediately, they came and looked and really weren't surprised. They left to do something and never came back we waited 15 minutes and my daughter went down to the desk. There were NO ROOMS available. So at 10:30 @night after traveling 11 hours we had to find another place to stay which was not an easy thing to do. They did refund all my money BUT I was assured a manager would contact me which would have been a month ago. I sent an email which was never answered. I gave them a month to respond before I posted this review because I wanted to be fair. Unless you want to deal with repercussions from a filthy BUG Ridden room I personal would NOT stay here.

We booked a stay here for a week while visiting family for a cheap option. We weren’t expecting too much and didn’t really have too many issues until the last night there. The room was fairly clean but we really only were there to sleep at night. The last night we were there we got in our room at 10:30pm stating that they were redoing their parking lot and our cars needed to be out of the lot and parked across the street by 8:30am the following day. That day would be our check out day. We tried to talk to someone that night saying we didn’t have ample notice and wanted a minimal refund for the few hours in the morning since we wouldn’t be able to pack our car up in the lot and would have to trek it across the busy street. The guy at the desk said he couldn’t do anything and to come back in the morning. So we came back the next morning and a different guy said he couldn’t do anything about it and that he would have to call his manager to see how much he could discount our room. We took a name and email, but doubt we will ever hear back as they already charged my card at the beginning of the trip. We ended up crossing the busy street with 3 large bags and back packs. As we got across the street there was a snake near our vehicle. If you’re going to redo your parking lot there should have been notices much sooner than a few hours before it begins. This is a scheduled service, not just something that pops up.

The location is nice, parking lot is really good, and the staff is very kind. HOWEVER: The window might as well have been open. It did not seal at all, and there was mold growing on it. I cleaned it off. Also, the door did not shut all the way unless I put all the force of my 6'4" body into it. (Video proof) I would consider the floors and bed as the best thing in the room... because God knows I cleaned enough dirt from the cabinets

I guess the location was all right. Overall experience was horrible. We got checked in to our room which smelled like vomit. I cannot handle the smell anymore so the next day we asked to be switched rooms the front desk person switched us rooms, but it wasn’t any better it did not really smell like anything, but the window was broken and would not open the drawer was completely broken off. It was unusable, they did not want to give me a discount. I Will not recommend this place to anybody. Horrible horrible service. Don’t save yourself money. Just pay extra 20 bucks a night and get a better night sleep right down the road this is unacceptable.

This place is basic but very clean. Even the hallways smell great. Room is immaculate, great bed and everything in working order. The pillows are nice too! It was also really quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall this stay was ok. The location was good and places around it like the mall and restaurants around. But the hotel staff wasn’t very nice to be honest. They aren't very helpful and when I called to see when breakfast was the guy told me they don’t have breakfast but we can buy stuff at the store. So that was a little surprising, seeing as though I payed the same amount I would have for a hotel with breakfast and they advertised it I thought. Anyways, there was also no housekeeping done to our room at all the 3 days that we stayed there and when we asked for toilet paper they made us come down to the desk. I don’t know I just feel like the service could have been a little better. They barely even talked to us or anything unless we asked questions. The room also kinda smelled and I’ve seen a couple other reviews saying the Same. I don’t mean to be a Karen , I usually don’t leave reviews on anything at all so that should mean something that I am lol.
