My Place Hotel-Plainfield, IN - Featured Reviews (171)
Beware of the completely inflexible cancellation policy. I booked two rooms for a colleague and me but I was fortunate to get an earlier flight home. I called the hotel and asked to cancel a room. Since I had missed the deadline (prior day at 4pm, it was 11am day of when I called), the penalty would be one night even though I was keeping one room. I was told it was corporate policy. So I called and contacted My Place corporate and they responded that it was an individual property decision and that they would forward the request. No response by the time my colleague checked in and the front desk (assistant general manager) wouldn't budge either. Indianapolis was full of people for the brickyard 400 so it's likely the room could have been booked by someone else and at a higher rate, but there was no flexibility. So, I'll probably avoid My Place unless I'm 100% sure I'll be there. For what it's worth my colleague said the rooms were basic but nice with a nice kitchenette.
I was disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned once during our week long stay. I did bring my used towels down and received new ones after asking. I was also disappointed that there were no silverware, dishes or cookware. You can purchase this there. Room was clean upon arrival. I would suggest bringing your own dishes/silverware if planning to eat or warm anything up in the room. The staff were friendly.
Stayed there for four days with a large group. Three of our four rooms had broken things (AC that would not stay on, leakingsing, broken power outlets). Rooms were not totally clean and had trim coming off in spots. The staff was very friendly and the location is good but the hotel did not seem well cared for.
It was advertised the room had a kitchenette. When we arrived, there was a full size fridge, microwave and an electric stovetop.||When we asked if there were pans or dishes available, we were told no, but we will sell you some.||We had planned meals and brought food with us to make dinner In our room in the evenings. We were staying 4 nights and would be returning late to the hotel each night without having no time for an evening meal anywhere else. We ended up being very creative with the microwave and the paper plates we had brought with us.||Very disappointing and misleading.||All other hotels we have stayed in that advertised having a kitchenette, had an oven and some basic pots, pans and serving dishes.
We liked staying at this hotel. It was moderately priced, within 25 minutes of downtown Indy, and dog-friendly. We brought our well-behaved dog, and the pet fee was reasonable ($15 plus taxes). The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and our stay was enjoyable.
Perfect for our needs near the airport. Friendly staff and decent rooms with kitchenette. No pots/pans or dishes included so be aware of that.
Only stayed one night, but Very nice hotel. Very spacious room and bathroom. You definitely don't feel cramped. Clean smelling. Very clean. Kitchenette in room, cooktop, microwave, toaster, sink, full size refrigerator. Beds are comfortable, a little lower to the ground for someone of my height, but not to bad. Only irritation was the room above us had someone practically pacing the floor from about 11:30pm - 4am. But not hotels fault, so I don't blame them. Overall very impressive, will definitely stay here again!
we really enjoyed our stay at my place hotel in Plainfield, Indiana. The staff made us feel very welcome. The store in the lobby had a number of items for purchase in case you forgot anything or needed a snack. The room itself was very large. Great kitchen area, big, clean bathroom, and a large bedroom with very comfortable beds. The TV had lots of channels, the Internet works. Great, the entire staff was friendly. We always try to book this hotel when we are in the area.
Our room was great. The set up is great for office working or just spending a little time alone when traveling with someone. Room was very clean. I would caution relying on shuttle to and from the airport if you have an early flight or late time retu
We were just passing through on the way between St Louis and Indy and wanted to let the kids out to stretch and play. Found this on maps. It isn't super close to the highway (6 minute diversion each way), but it was worth it. Amazing playground for v
Love this place. We just spent 3 hours in there looking and it felt like maybe an hour. There is such a wide range of things. The staff is super helpful and friendly too.
They're friendly and quick while helping choose the perfect combination for your perfect beverage. They come in 2 sizes, are made to order, and ready within minutes.
The Greek Skillet was delicious. It was chock full of juicy gyro meat, home fried potatoes that had delicious crunchy edges, creamy feta cheese, peppers and onions. When combined with perfectly cooked over easy eggs it made the meal even tastier. It
