My hero subs in San Bernardino off of Mills is a small locally owned mom and pop shop. They are super friendly and welcoming. The hero/sammy's are pretty good. We'd definitely come back.

My Hero is a place that makes you feel at home, the workers are friendly and provides a family atmosphere. Customer service is good and the sandwhiches are amazing. Thank you guys for all you do and thank you for making a great sub. The lady that works the front is amazing and is fairly new but does an awesome job. I used to come in here multiple times a week after classes and on my way to work. I have not been home in 10 years and this was my favorite sandwich. Its still the same amazing sandwich shop. Getting my order and biting in made me feel like home immediately. I do not think anything changed. I stopped at quite a few places I used to frequent and missed this feeling. I have been trying to find a replacement pastrami sandwich since I left and I never found it. I do not think I ever will. I wish I could have gone in every day I was visiting.

First time here. Drove by for years. Decided to stop after reading great reviews. Glad I did. First, the place is clean. 2nd, customer service is excellent. 3rd.and most important, the food is great. They deliver the right combination of meat and veggies. I loved that the bacon was crispy alongside the roast beef and advocato. AND, I didn't have to wait long. Very efficient. I will be returning when I crave a deli-sandwich. Subway, Green Shack, sorry.

If I can give them 6 stars I would. Excellent service and even better food. Very reasonably priced. I definitly recommend this place. My favorite sandwich is dirty girl!

Better than any chain sandwich shop around! The food here is DELICIOUS and ALWAYS fresh! Also the prices can't be beat! Service is friendly and courteous! They can be busy during lunch rush on the weekdays, but you can call ahead to save time. They also make party subs by the platter or by the foot with 24hr. notice. Has a whole in the wall college vibe and a great place for starving students to grab a bite to eat. The decor is provided by a young artist with autism, named Grant W. Bring some extra cash to show your support.
