Wonderful off leash park!
Even when the parking lot is full, you are never overwhelmed by other dogs or people. You can choose to go to the fenced-in park, the off leash play area where most dogs hang out, or you can go walk the trails and more likely than not be on your own. Maybe passing one or two other dogs.
Great place to bring your off leash dogs. There are lots of different trails to spread out on and there is access to the river for the dogs to swim. The entrance has water available for dogs to drink and a small agility course. The trails have some trashcans spread throughout for waste.
This place is unreal! So much room to explore. Well kept & as far as we seen no sticktights. We drove from an hour away and it was our first time. This will definitely be a place we come more. We have 7 dogs and one of them is a standard poodle who loves to explore but gets covered in stick tights every time. We explored and he had NONE!! Worth the drive just to not have to brush him out brush every time after. I highly recommend and will be back!
Best dog park in Lawrence! Great place to hike around, get some fresh air and exercise. Lots of paths through and around the hayfields to walk on. My pups LOVE being of leash and left to run around! There are benches placed throughout if you need a break. And sometimes you can get a great pic on them too!
My favorite dog park in Lawrence. They've got trails, an agility course, waterfall area, and a fenced in area if you're not super comfortable with your dog's recall. They keep the grass mowed, they keep water there and even a little kiddie pool for the summers. This is the only dog park I'll take my girl to in town.
This place is great. Tons of open space for dogs to run off leash as well as go venturing off on trails through the woods. There is also a place for the dogs (and people if you are so inclined) to swim and romp in water from the spillway below the dam. There is also a decent size fenced in area at the entrance for those dogs who may not be as trustworthy. Overall, this place rocks.
So many people to meet at this park! Dogs for the most part are well-behaved. There is a fenced-in area as well as the vast non-fenced in area that goes on and on. Open fields and in the woods. There's a small river that you can easily walk or drive to.
The Mutt Run is an amazing wonderland for dogs and dog lovers. Off-leash dog park with vast open fields where the dogs can just run till their legs fall off. Has trees, trails and even a small creek that dams up so the dogs have a pool to swim. They have a fenced in portion if ur dog is a runner. If you follow the trails to the back and through the dense trees, you are rewarded with a beautiful shallow river. Can walk accross in most spots and enjoy the cool clean water. My dogs had a blast everytime weve gone. They always find a new friend. All of the people are nice and respectful. The grounds are always clean. Theres trash cans to throw away poop. Its just a really good and fun place to bring your dogs.
