Muskingum County Fairgrounds - Fairground in Zanesville - 1300 Pershing Rd, USA

Even though it is not located in the best part of Zanesville and the average visitor is typically below the age of 18 the Muskingum County fair is still a very pleasant experience. The rides for kids look safe and there are many to choose from. The carnival game operators are relaxed and don't insult you to play like some. There was a wide variety of fair food to choose from. And the Arcade wad reasonably priced. Now to be completely honest, I always go to fairs for the animals. Their care was well monitored, they appeared to always have plenty of ventilation and food available which honestly puts them light years above most fairs, and the farming area should be proud with such a large diversity of breeds of each category imaginable. Entry was $8, parking was free and easy, and fun was had by all.

This is a very nice Fairgrounds situated in a pretty location of Zanesville. We come here each year for safe, clean winter storage of our son's camper. Suzanne is a really nice lady that is in the office and handles the process efficiently and friendly. Would definitely recommend for your boat/camper storage needs

Parking lot is treacherous with potholes; buildings have uneven entryways & broken stairs. Restrooms were clean & well-stocked. Booth dividers had dangerous pole supports.

We love showing our alpacas at this Fair. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Was not a very good year prices was just too high for our county fair. And $25 for a wristband to ride rides was just ridiculous. I understand that inflation went up but they just charged way too much we don't live in a rich county. 😕

Really was a well laid out fairground. Had a excellent time at the fair. I really believe any event held here would be worth going to.

Terrible admission prices for an incredibly lackluster Fair. Also the nepotism in the vendors they allow to partake in fair concessions is HEAVY. Speaking of vendors: they think you're dumb enough to spend 4 dollars on a hot dog and another 10 dollars on a small order of fries. Certainly someone is dumb enough!
