I really really enjoyed the ambiance and vibe at ML Park, Steamboat Willie pretty much ran through my playlist of Frank, Dean, Sammy, and even Bobby Darin. We had drinks and café au lait while enjoying excellent trumpet and crooning
Large sized courtyard with first come, first serve seats. Cafe Beignet is in the same yard and there are shades and non-shaded areas. There's also a top deck above the cafe with umbrellas to sit under. Great place to listen to live music.
We are not huge fans of Bourbon Street but Musical Legends Park is sort of neat. This is a good place to get beignets or a cocktail and listen to some live music. The statues are cool and reminds us of so many great entertainers that are no longer with us. You may also notice a plaque named Edison Place. This is the site of the original electrical distribution center in the City. The utilities donated the land as Edison Place, but later it was changed to Musical Legends Park.
Our visit was 20 April 2023 during the last night of a business trip. We had passed the location a couple of times during the week but wanted to sit and enjoy the music & some eats. I had the Red Beans and Rice and brought Beignets to go, my co-worker had beignets and we both had ice coffee from the Café Kitchen but both brought a drink from bar in same location. A frozen drink and small glass of red wine were our drinks. We were there to catch the end of one trio and the beginning of another trio (Steamboat Willie) on the Café Beignet stage. The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed our food. The staff we got our food and drinks from was very professional and pleasant. There was a gentleman cleaning off tables and picking up items that blew on the ground keeping things clean and tidy. The cute little birds are comfortable around people. If back in this area again, I would defiantly stop back.
Once realised, they have outdoors heating this is a nice place to listen to live music. I had a beer and enjoyed the band.
I got a mango frozen drink and it was super bad, I try to ask them if they could maybe swap it out but they gave me attitude and were really nasty. They told me to just buy another one. Horrible customer service at the bar and the music was meh.the so called manager older lady was really rude
Had passed this place a few times while in New Orleans. Was glad I was able to finally stop, the place has a really cool setup and is decorated nice with lots of history involved. They have food, drinks, and snacks. For sure recommend you checking the place out if you are in the area... lots of seating and they even had live music during my visit.
Had lunch here, Carlos played with the band. Happy Birthday to a fellow Lady patron that afternoon. Had the Jumbolia,Carlos had the catfish sandwich. Side of beignets. Fats Domino. & Irma Thomas. Alton Brown ate here as well.

Great venue! The house lights and video wall were operated by an expert at keeping the vibe right. They had a huge line-array sound system but it never felt too loud or overbearing.
