Loved it! Small museum filled with interesting wood art. Free to enter and enjoy, but they really deserve a generous donation. We were welcomed warmly, introduced to the museum and offered a tour. The displays are well organized, the museum space is bright. It’s fully accessible, with accessible entrances, restroom and an elevator to the second floor. There are displays at all heights, and an audio tour available.
Really nice FREE museum. The first floor is rotating exhibitions and the second floor is permanent collections. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but if you find yourself in Old City with some time on your hands it’s a great place to check out. It seems like a good place to have a first date. I noticed a couple who were on one and it appeared to be going well. They have a nice gift shop as well. Important to note: only the first floor is accessible. The second floor requires walking up a steep staircase and there doesn’t appear to be an elevator.
Free museum. Very small. Great caring kind people run this. Many local artists on display. There is also a store selling some unique wood items. Prices range from moderate to expensive.
An absolute must-visit! A hidden gem for sure! Really incredible exhibit and the permanent collection is amazing as well. Love the balance of both woodworking as utilitarian skill craft as well as woodworking as a contemporary expressive art form and discussion platform. There is plenty of both aspects to appreciate and indulge in here. On top of that, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and seemed excited to show you around and present information. The curation and layout was also great and had a very nice flow. Plus the gift shop is also wonderful. Technically it is free entry but PLEASE give the suggested $5 donation, it’s absolutely worth every penny of that and more. Next time I’m in Philly I’ll be coming back here again!
This museum is such a gem! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and open to questions. The curation of permanent and featured works are well displayed. Come enjoy the free admission and enjoy this unique slice of art & history.
Beautiful - intricately designed pieces line this amazing space. Each has it's own story. Loved the tour of the upstairs and opportunity to see the machines at work.
This museum is small but mighty!! Terrific main exhibit but the permanent collection upstairs is a wonder, if you have some patience and love small details. Gift shop is also awesome! Hidden gem.
I checked out 'The Mashrabiya Project' at this exhibition location. Entrance is free, and this museum is worth a quick visit if you appreciate art made from wood.

A great place to remind ourselves the value of our own freedom. There is a hero in each of us and we need to push each other to do the right thing when our call arrives. Good for 10-years old and older. Pace yourself and always reflect each exhibitio
I had a great time there recently. It is a very small sister to the larger museum across the way. I saw an exhibit about art as fashion and it was fabulous. I just became a member so I had to go back to the main building to get that active which hon

Great place to work! I easily got a table and set up my computer to work for about half an hour. There was a large group there at the time so it was a bit loud but manageable as I was far enough to tune them out and the group wasn't too loud. I espec
I did an OBA class (drop-in) while visiting Philadelphia in January. I read some comments here that they're not "drop-in friendly", but that's not my experience at all! Signing up was very easy. At the reception I was asked what my fitness level (ok,
