Murski Homestead Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Brenham - 1662 Old Independence Rd, USA

My wife and I just stayed at the Murski Homestead B&B for our anniversary trip to Brenham and absolutely loved it. Pamela, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by her and shown our room. Throughout our stay she was a pleasure to talk with. Our room had lots of room and the bed was super comfy! A great continental breakfast was provided for us in the room upon arrival. The homemade banana bread was incredible! The location was very close to town and the view on the property was amazing. I could not recommended this B&B enough. Can't wait to return!

My wife and I just stayed at the Murski Homestead B&B and LOVED it! If you are looking for a very comfortable, quiet, get away, this is your place! Pamela, the owner is wonderful, and made us feel right at home on her working ranch. ||||The rooms are spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable (she uses Comfy sheets). Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a delicious fresh baked loaf of blueberry bread and a list of local restaurants to grab something to eat (we arrived at 7pm). It's just a short drive into Brenham (5 min), where we enjoyed a tasty dinner at a local "farm to table" restaurant downtown. ||||After returning, we sat out on one of the numerous porches to sip glasses of wine while watching the horses and cattle meander over the property. Pamela left us alone unless we engaged her in conversation, which we did, and she was a pleasure to talk to. ||||Breakfast was a continental, that was in the room (fruit, yogurt, the bread, and other similar treats), and was more than enough for us as we drank our coffee on the porch.||||I highly recommend the Murski Homestead B&B for your next trip to Brenham. We live in Houston, and have found our new weekend get away...I hope you do as well.

Such a relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Sage Room and it was perfect. The sheet were extremely soft, bed comfortable, tons of pillows. I love the reading nook in the corner, the electric fireplace, the bath and homemade complimentary liquor. I'm already bragging about this B&B, it was the first my husband had ever stayed at and we might not ever go back to hotels if he thinks they will all be like this one. They had puzzles, board games, cards, a Jacuzzi, horses, donkeys, cows and a beautiful property tons of places to just sit and enjoy the view. The owners are what sold this to us, they are so sweet, gave us recommendations and constantly asking if we needed anything and gave us some extra desserts. Such a sweet couple and Pamela is an AMAZING cook. She would make breakfast the day before and have put it in the refrigerator for us to have whenever we woke up the next day in the comfort of our rooms with fresh fruit and juice. Relaxing escape. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent two nights in the Rosemary Room, our first stay at a B&B. The property, was very well-kept with lovely landscaping, fountains, and views of nearby pastures with a horse and a few donkeys. As we were coming in after dark, Mrs. Murski had left us a message giving us perfect instructions on where to park and how to find the room, which was left well-lit and ready for us; she made clear she'd be available and how to find her if we had any issues during our stay (which we did not). The beverage cabinet was stocked with a Keurig and some delicious homemade breads, and the fridge was already set with OJ, fruit, and an amazing breakfast quiche for the next day. Our room was on the small side, but we thoroughly enjoyed the attached porch with table and swing, giving us plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely stay again, should we need to spend the night near Brenham, and are grateful for the Murksi's hospitality!

It's always such a pleasure staying at this wonderful B&B! The food is always so good and absolutely fresh. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Our cheese and sausage plate was phenomenal. The bottle of champagne was fantastic! And above all else it was a perfect escape for our anniversary.||Pamela is an absolute delight and I can't wait to see what she has in store for this amazing escape from the real world.

Being from Houston, this was close enough to home that we didn't have to travel far, but far enough that we felt we were able to get away. Brenham in the spring time is a sight to behold with the rolling fields of flowers. My Fiance and I were thoroughly impressed with all the little touches that this B&B offers. We got a warm welcome when we drove up and were given a quick little tour and given a map with dinner ideas. That night was lovely. We stayed in the Sage Room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Our bathroom was very roomy and nicely decorated. The tub is nice and big and gave a wonderful bath that evening. We paid a little extra to have breakfast brought to us in suite. Amazing breakfast! All in all, we were super pleased with our stay and wish it had been more than just the one night so we could enjoy it longer. Will definitely be going back for years to come.

This amazing spot has so many positives that it's going to be hard to fit them into a review. ||Organizing & booking was easy. The place was even better than described. The house is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed and a perfect combination of rustic and modern. We loved meeting the charming, helpful and kind owner (Pamela) and found her to be the type of host everyone wishes for: helpful, respectful, unobtrusive and genuinely a sweet person. She had left some delicious homemade lemon yogurt loaf for us, and when we left, packaged up the rest for us to take on the road because we had raved about it!||The bed was super comfortable, bathroom was complete with all necessities (including a magnifying mirror!). ||I especially LOVED the porches (one out front and one out back!) with the comfortable places to relax while listening to the waterfall and watching the horses and cows around us. ||It was a delightful getaway, and we would strongly recommend it to friends and family!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for an impromptu weekend away from Houston. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed out breakfast each morning on our private sun drenched balcony. Although there were other guests staying at the same time we never saw them and it felt like we have the place to ourselves. The outdoor hot tub was a great addition to the property.
