Very spacious room although a bit old and heater a bit dated. We got a suit with a living room and one bed room, easily could sleep 5 for prices that are just 1 queen bed else where. The service is good and very accommodating. Location good, right near the business area on the main road
Mike is a very accommodating manager. Madison at the desk was lovely for any needs in the morning. I even asked for something extra and it was obtained for me. As long as the machines are working they will make you lattes and ice cream. Can't beat it!
Did not provide the listed amenities. Pool and spa are closed. Had planned on taking a sauna before heading out to Mercer caverns at ten. For some reason the sauna is closed until nine. The room has a heating/cooling unit in the bedroom only so there’s a fan that blows air to the living room. It didn’t work. Puddles of dried uncleaned puddles of vomit in parking lot.
Two night stay. Wonderful office staff. Comfortable, very clean, with rustic charm in lobby. Housekeeping staff did a great job. Fresh donuts daily delivered to your door at a choice of your timing between a 3 hour time frame. Beds were comfortable. Pool was on the smaller size & it only went to 5 feet, but it was perfect for us & was well located away from the traffic side, a beautiful oak casts a lovely shade on parts of the pool in the afternoon. Easy access, sufficient parking. If we ever travel that way again we’ll definitely book there. Soft serve in the lobby was a nice touch. Very satisfied with the low end cost of our stay.
This place is GREAT, we really had a fabulous time. For this type of hotel, the hallways are super wide and the rooms are huge, such a welcome difference from the tiny rooms where there's just a 1 ft walking path around 2 queen beds. The pool and hot tub were clean and on, so nice even on a rainy day. They bring you breakfast to your room which is basic, but at least it's something - and they bring you fresh donuts!!! Microwave, fridge, two TVs, everything worked in the room. Someone said the furniture is out-dated, but it's in good condition so no need to swap it out! Walking distance to a few restaurants, for serious walkers you can get downtown, but just as easy to move your car a little further into town to walk around. Did I mention they have a free soft-serve ice cream machine? Stop by the front desk whenever and ask for a cup or cone, this is better than a cruise ship, we will definitely return when we come to Murphys again.
Definitely not worth the 550 bucks spent, the sofa bed, sheets and pillows smelled like they hadn’t been washed in a long while, the shower head was awful, we (party of 4) arrived to one roll of toilet paper we had to replace the empty roll and the “breakfast burritos” were frozen and from Walmart. Dude at the desk was rude and impolite all three days, and finally, unlike everyone else he offered, I never got an ice cream.
Stayed here after a long day at the lake. Property was easy to find. Being a Monday it was very quiet and relaxing. Grandkids loved that we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. Staff was polite and accommodating, and the mini donuts made fresh in the morning were a treat!
Our room was ok. The beds were not very comfortable the showerhead sucked. They do have complimentary soft serve ice cream machine and fresh made donuts in the morning. The pool area was clean and nice. All in all outdated it needs freshing up and modernizing. It is about 25 to 30 minutes to the big tree state park. And old town is walking distance from the hotel. For the money it's a good deal. The staff was very nice and helpful.
We loved everything ordered. Beer is always great. The food even better. Didnât get a photo of the plates we had for lunch but will come back and try more options.
The cave itself is really interesting. Good pacing in the tour even though it's quite a ways down a 160 feet, the the gift shop is friendly and easy to navigate. The outside area has lots of shaded areas when you're waiting for the tour to start or j
I recently took the two hour drive from the Rocklin area to see Patti La Belle and Gladys Knight at the Ironstone Amphitheatre. We purchased reserved seats. Great view of the stage. And for those who would rather watch their live performance with an
Love the GF crust. Half salads nice and big. Delicious pinnacle beer. Wonderful outdoorsy setting with view of the street. We came for the Firewood Pizza but plan on exploring the cute town with lots of wineryâs.
