The staff always made us feel welcome and at home. The room was clean and had lots of towels and extra blankets. The mini fridge was a good size and had a separate freezer which was nice. They had an abundance of DVDs to use and board games. The room had a DVD player. ||The office also had complementary fresh popped popcorn, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. You could also buy snacks, sodas, supplemental oxygen. ||The continental breakfast wasn’t anything special. Just some pre-packaged donuts, coffee cakes, and danishes. There were also muffins but they were kind of dry. The did have fresh fruit which was nice. ||We had a room w/ a private deck overlooking the river but it was frozen. I’m sure it would have been nicer in the summer. Wish we had gotten a room w/ a fireplace or soaking tub instead. Maybe next time.
A lovely 2 days at Murphy’s in a jacuzzi room with a porch and beautiful view of the river. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Older property, but well kept and maintained. Friendly staff. Wonderful location & comfortable room for the price. Walking distance to many restaurants & shops.
We have visited Murphy's River Lodge every year for the last 5 years and we absolutely love it. My kids love the movies and popcorn you can check out from the office, the heated pool and the yummy breakfast in the morning. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. We will keep coming back!
We enjoyed our terrific spacious (and clean!) room overlooking the river with a short walk to town. The front desk was super helpful and welcoming. The continental breakfast was bountiful. Access to Rocky Mountain National Park was also easy. All in all a great stay.
This was the best place to stay in at Estes! Walking distance from the main street where all the shops were located. Our room was perfect, with such a comfortable bed! Very clean space and a lovely view from our balcony of the mountains and river that flows through the lodge. Definitely will be returning in future visits!
Amazing little place.! Had a great time with such clean facilities and the room had everything you needed! The staff was fantastic and answered any questions I had! We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. We had a nice view of the river! The extras like popcorn were a nice touch!
Absolutely beautiful place! The rooms were rustic and spotless with a cute lodge feel. The beds were comfortable and we had kitchen utensils, basic cookware, and coffee provided in our room. The employees were helpful and kind. Lots of fun things available in the lobby like s’mores boxes and DVDs. The whole property was absolutely beautiful- our room had a covered porch looking over the river. Easy walk to town and all the restaurants and shops. I wish we could stay longer!
This is a great place to stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The staff was great. We saw elk from our room and the creek was was beautiful. It is in a great location close to town. I was surprised the breakfast had no milk, eggs, or yogurt, but we were overall just grateful there was continental breakfast at all. The coffee was great and the staff person was nice and kept the place really clean. One night we picked up burgers and grilled them ourselves at one of the provided grills. It was less expensive than an airbnb cabin and had the amenities of a casual lodge. 5 stars; would wholeheartedly stay again.

A great experience all around especially the service. A five rating doesn't seem high enough especially Bridgette at the front desk. Our room with fireplace was a special treat. Breakfast was good also.

On an off-season stay a couple weeks ago, we were able to get one of the mountain-view double-king rooms and really enjoyed it. Hotel was very-well maintained and everything seemed like new. The hot-tub and pool were spotless. Breakfast was great.
You canât ask for a better location, barely a mile from our room to one of the visitor centers of The Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was super clean, jacuzzi, kitchen, linens, floors, bathroom, all were spotless. Bed was medium to soft, wor

Another of the beautiful overlooks of the Trail ridge rd. This one looks at the valley that is between the trail ridge rd and the fall river road to which the fall river flows from the receding glaciers of the RMNP. Has a slightly larger parking lot
Phenomenal view on a clear day. Quiet windy as should be expected, so protect your hats from flying away. Keep eyes open for mountain goats and elks. Last time we had a coyote jump in front of our car in pursuit of prey. The road up to this overlook
