Murphy Motel - Hotel in Murphy - 8950 US-64, USA

Comfortable bed, very spacious room, excellent water pressure in the sink and tub. Pleasant people at check in. Good location.|On the minus side, not enough outlets to charge devices (I had to unplug a bedside clock); even at the lowest setting the mini fridge froze everything I put in there. |Good value for the price (about $150 a night).

Positive: It's small and charming. It's quiet, clean, and the staff are very friendly. Negative: The smell of the cleaning products used is not pleasant. Every time we stay here, I hope that the room won't smell so strong.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Bugs every where was late when we got to room bed was very bad. When the bugs were in shower and on the toilet counted eight. We decided at 230 am we would not be getting rest that we would check out and drive 3 hours home called about a refund on room. The girl at front desk said no way. So in short. I would not recommend any one waist there money here unless you like sleeping with roaches,!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok place. Best part was that it's out away from things. Quiet place. Except the occasional traffic. Rooms are small but efficient. Had microwave, mini fridge, single serve coffee maker. Beds were firm and soft. We slept good. The ac run quiet so you can set outside and heat each other talk. Has a picnic table and chairs at the far end to enjoy. Each room has one parking spot in front of the room. So if you travel with more than one vehicle and share a room, be courteous and park one at the edge of lot. The shower was great. Plenty of pressure and hot water. Shower head is high. Which is nice for us tall people.

Honest opinion: - There were quite a few small bugs to fight - Room was clean - bed was comfortable - shower was excellent - peaceful - priced pretty good - 5 tv channels on a not very clear tv - would go back but would bring bug spray

The owner of the place is very rude and doesn't allow locals. If you get a room your not even aloud to have a guest visit you even though you pay $99 plus a night. I DO NOT recommend this motel to anyone and the sheets were dirty!

Roaches! It’s 2 am and I can’t sleep in this roach infested room! I’ve counted 4 so far! The bed is horrible! The worst I have ever laid on! Noisy and uncomfortable. Thinking of just leaving now and driving home.

It was extremely clean and the staff was very courteous and it was very comfortable. This was one of the most enjoyable hotel/motels I've ever stayed in. And the owners/staff were so courteous, polite, and family orientated . While I was outside visiting with my son &grandson( who live in Murphy).. the owners son offered my grandson a couple pieces of hard candy.( Wrapped, of course) and was polite enough to play with him for a short while.. thank you for dedication, professionalism, and hospitality.
