It hurts me to know we are just covering all the good memories and fields we have in this fine city. I grew up in this country and I remember about 40 or 50 other boys running our hearts out on this field to try to make try outs for the Huntington Beach dolphins. And now there taking the memories and totally building over them. Why do we need more courts and more building that will eventually fall one way or another. Trees never grow ugly like man made materials. This park was beautiful the way it was.
Kids need fields to run and play what ever games or sports they choose. Not ones our parents or society wants.
PLEASE look out for a young boy and his dad coming to play baseball or practice hitting. This very abusive dad was screaming at his young child how terrible he was, that he was wasting his time, and repeatedly cussing at him while he silently took it. Bystanders tried to talk to him with no avail. Please speak up if you see this. Try to get the boy help.
This park is huge! It has a community center the provides classes, basketball courts with lights, softball/ baseball fields, tennis courts, playground, and is currently under construction to add a proper well light soccer field! Plenty of free parking, dog friendly, and public restrooms!

A large, well-established neighborhood park with tennis, basketball and baseball facilities, as well as a skate park. There are homeless folks, sometimes, sleeping in the bushes or under the pavilion cover where there are tables for picnics. Overall, the park is safe well-lit, and clean, as long as one remains alert. There's ample parking and bathrooms in the community center. Nice park for kids birthdays, since there is a playground, as well.

Great place to spend the day with family and small children. We brought marshmallows and wood from Albertsons. Had a blast! I'm sure our kids loved making marshmallow memories and playing on the shore
Spacious 4+ acres of park with plenty of grass space, 2 tiny playgrounds, swings, basketball and restrooms. Lots of younger kids were playing and plenty of local residential area suggests a great area for kids to play without cars spending by.

Great place to grab to go food from Main St. and sit out in the grass under a shaded tree. I got Sushi from Sushi on Fire and ate it at the park while waiting for my kids before getting them from school. Has a library but seems closed due to COVID.
