Beautiful. We attended a work holiday dinner that was held at the MAC Club. Friendly staff and amazing service. The food was exceptional, especially for a buffet.

Uhhh, could easily be the most posh establishment in all of Portland OR. I was there bin January 2024 on personal business which precludes much commentary based on Google maps policy. What you see below is a set of plugs one (me now) can use.for presentations.

The MAC is absolutely detestable. Aside from the many discrimination issues they have had, the current president said that he can't wait until he goes on his month long vacation because who cares about hanging around the MAC, as he put it. He was bragging to employees that barely make enough money to pay their rent about his expensive month long vacation on a tropical island. The employees of the MAC dont even get vacation time. Tone deaf on every level. The woman who said this place is for emotionally unaware people who thrive on hostility, greed, and discrimination was right on the nose.

The 1891 restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was great also. Although I didn't try them, the steaks looked great, had my others at my table, and I had the Miso snapper, along with an amazing beet salad. The desserts were decadent, and the whole table shared several. I only wish you didn't have to be a member to come here so I could come back...

Beautiful "clubhouse" with a great view of Providence Park and the playing field from MAC's "living room". I've been to many classes and luncheons at MAC. The food is delicious. While they are efficient, the wait staff serving conferences never seems very happy or friendly. This is a very upscale place, normally for members only. Nice, but spendy gift shop inside too.

Super lame and elitist place. Two different situations that happened today: - they refused to let us in - WITH TICKETS - because the member who bought the tickets wasn’t there. She had called in advance and confirmed that it would be fine. - the bar took my my credit card then refused to run it (after I ordered a drink), because “we have to serve all the members first”. It too about 5 minutes to get my card back Everything about this place is snobby and elitist anyways, but both of these instances were over the top. I will stay far, far away until there’s a change in ownership

This club is expensive to say the least you pay for the entry and every time you want food or to enroll your kids into classes it’s even more expensive. Once you get that out of the way it’s a pretty nice club although it could be cleaner especially the locker rooms and family changing rooms in the sun deck pool

The MAC has exceeded my expectations. At first, I wasn't interested in joining an exclusive athletic club. I had thoughts of elitism, social isolation, etc. Well, it turns out that the MAC is 99% NOT SNOBBY AT ALL! The MAC is run by its members, all board members are regular people who like to exercise. 99% of the members are locals who are kind, gracious, and humble. The MAC also has an incredible amount of kid and teen activities for your family. I like to go there to work out in the gym, while my kids go for volleyball and rock- climbing. The rock- climbing gym has especially been a game changer for my family. It provides my son with a refuge, essentially, from school and home. It's a home- away- from home for him. Plus, all of the rock- climbing staff are incredible, kind, concerned, compassionate, and caring. Furthermore, most of my friends are in different aerobics classes that they really enjoy. There are also lots of drop- in classes available. Finally, the restaurants are great, especially the sports bar! And there are so many great, kind people who work at the MAC. I can't believe that some people have impressions of the MAC that are so incredibly false( referring back to my first paragraph). In conclusion, this is a great place for family, athletics, gatherings, friends, and community.

I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point. Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You won’t regret it!

The cart we’ve needed! Rich flavors with the creamiest mac n cheese and mashed potatoes (my fave). Don’t sleep on the desserts either. Somehow tastes even better as leftovers!
