It was quite an experience. The cemetery itself was aw inspiring. The property is huge. Ali's resting place is beautiful. It's incredibly well done and seems very peaceful. You won't regret a visit.
I was in Louisville for a funeral and decided to visit the grave of the Great Mohamed Ali Clay. It has a nice surrounding, and the grave is well maintained and the flowers were blooming and the grass was well cut and green.
It feels a bit odd to be rating someone's grave, but Maps asked me to and frankly it was a neat experience to see where the greatest boxer of all time was buried and thank him for the memories. Google maps will take you very close to the correct point, but at the bottom of the hill. I will see if I can add a correction for that. It is a beautiful cemetery and Mr. Ali's spot is very solemn with beautiful flowers.
We went to find his grave, there were no pamphlets in the boxes. Needless to say we couldn’t find the grave. The cemetery was very pretty, and well kept. We did see some very interesting headstones. Mr. Magic was one that was super unique.

It is the most beautiful cemetary I've ever visited! The only complaint I have is that they don't allow motorcycles unless it's in the funeral procession. So serene and peaceful. Absolutely beautiful resting place… The Greatest
It's very convoluted to get around in the cemetery. However, it's also a botanical garden. With the help of GPS, I was able to find Ali's grave site. It's well designed without being overly elaborate. Muslim tradition encourages simplicity of the graves without monuments.
Cave Hill Cemetery was very unique in many ways. Want to come back for the tour. So many things to see and take in.
