Muddy Creek Wetlands Management Area - Nature preserve in Theodore - , USA

Beautiful scenery. But watch out for snakes and some parts of the trail are bare ground with lots of roots you have to be careful not to trip over. Lots of mosquitoes too. But overall a very nice trail.

This was a really nice trail we found close by. It was really nice and peaceful. If your into nature and site seeing. When it said muddy creek wetlands expect to have in parts of the trail water. We came after it just ran all day before and night prior. Wouldn’t recommend trying to go off the trail too much as it might be watery or too many spider webs in between. Other then that it’s a nice trail to bring your dog also. Watch out for the entrance since it will creep up on you depending which way you coming from.

Beautiful. Wear good shoes because there are alot of roots to trip on. We brought a stroller through, but it was very rough and I don't recommend. Otherwise, it's a great little trail to visit! It is a little over 2 miles long.

Fun and serene walk around a beautiful example of Southeastern biomes. Wear good shoes, and bug spray. Birdwatching was good with the potential to be great once this drought breaks.

Very natural nature trail. Trail was cleared well and easy to traverse. Beautiful sites and pleasant walk. We had the trail to ourselves. Make sure you come prepared for mosquitoes and yellow flies and no-see-ums. Will return!

Such a beautiful trail! Very well kept, solid boards on the boardwalks. Has some hurricane damage, but its been cleaned up very well, and trails are completely passable. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will definitely be back!

Pretty awesome trail located in Theodore. It's a 2.5 mile that takes you over all kinds of terrain. Mainly has boardwalks that takes you through a Pine Forest and wetlands over the Muddy Creek. Large Cypress trees mushrooms a plenty along with Live Oaks pretty awesome trail that's local that has something for all. Maybe check it out in the Fall and you can see a little more

Nice and quiet place for a hike. Short trail, but interesting views of diverse ecosystems. Dry today, but I've seen it with more standing water. Sadly, lots of damage from Hurricane Sally. Still, would recommend for a quick getaway.
