My husband and I stayed once here, last September. We stayed in a cabin with a deck facing the river and it was an amazing stay! The cabin was spacious and with a little kitchen, perfect for a hiking weekend. I wish the place allowed pets so we could stay here again, but even our only stay left us in awe of the place!
Mike and Susan are really incredible! We had our first positive interaction over the phone when we realized on Sunday that the stay was scheduled for Sun-Wed instead of Mon-Thurs. Mike kindly let us shift our reservation over one day. When we got there, we were very happy to find a clean (and clean-feeling!) motel room. The owners clearly take great care of the property and rooms. The communal areas are really beautiful, and the river is an excellent plus! Additionally, the property is well located to nearby state parks (10-20 min drive to hikes) as well as 5 minutes from town (including grocery stores and cafes!) I can't wait to come back and make more use of the outdoor areas when bug season is over (there is a lot of protection via insect screens, including on the gazebo, which was very much appreciated!)
What a sweet find. Loved Mt Liberty Lodging. Susan & Mike were great! Cabin #7 was perfect, clean and stocked with basics. The screened in porch wonderful. The river felt great after 7mi hike and its sound soothing to sleep by. Plan to return.
We had such a lovely stay here for much needed relaxation after a backpacking trip. The owners are kind and helpful and the property is well-maintained. We really enjoyed the covered outdoor seating areas and the proximity to restaurants and shops. Lovely to be sleeping by the river as well!
This is our second time stay here . Mike and Susan are very nice and make us feel welcomed. I asked for recommendations for a waterfall Susan gave me a book on waterfalls in the area my partner read the whole book. We had a really nice relaxing time and look forward to another trip and hopefully checkout a different cabin . Thanks Shaunda and Steve
Last minute visit to Whales Tale waterpark and wanted to get reasonably priced lodging for the night. We had room 10 - loved the layout and private balcony overlooking the Pemi. Room was very clean and had everything needed. Property very clean and landscaping / flowers were a special touch. We will visit again and stay longer so we can enjoy the pool, grilling and fire pit areas.
Beautiful New England getaway. Owners Mike and Susan are always extremely friendly and accommodating. Well taken care of clean grounds and cabins. I recommend the Galehead Cabin, as a river runs by the back of the cabin, where you can admire from your screened in porch, which is connected to the main bedroom. Always a fantastic time here!
We love it here! This was our second time staying and we know we’ll book again next summer. The owners Mike and Susan are incredibly nice and happy to help with anything if needed. The property is beautiful. There are several fire pit areas with a lot of outdoor furniture, grills, a screened in gazebo and a very clean pool. The property is beautiful and on a quiet street. It’s calming to hear the river all the time. We loved sitting on the back porch. The view is beautiful. The cabin was clean, bed was comfortable, there were several fans incase it was hot, and kitchenette was perfect. There’s so much to do in the Lincoln. Thanks for a great place to stay! Mike and Amy
