Booking a room at any Bed and Breakfast, implies a certain amount of innkeeper interaction. The Mt Eustis inn is a property that combines top notch facilities, with a delightful innkeeper experience, creating a welcoming and memorable stay.||||The first thing to know about the B&B, is that is a bit off the beaten path. While it’s very close to downtown Littleton, where there is shopping and a nice variety of dining choices, the inn itself is located on a private mountain top, up a very long driveway. The views of the surrounding mountains and valley’s are fantastic from each of the three rooms, from the porch, and from the grounds. The next important piece of knowledge is that the innkeepers, Sally and Jim designed the property and personally outfitted it, in a way that shows how every possible need was considered, before the guests arrival.||||Of course you ultimately have the choice of how much interaction you choose to have with your hosts in a property like this one, but here, since my comfort was so thoughtfully planned out, and there was nothing that extra that I needed from my innkeepers, the choice to socialize or not was completely mine.||||The multi course breakfast was served in a cozy room overlooking the mountains, the food was organic, the eggs are from the chickens on the property, but even more important is that fact that everything is homemade and excellent! There are also teas and baked goods available in the afternoon, and into the night in a small thoughtfully stocked guest pantry. We found ourselves skipping desert at the restaurant, so we could enjoy a wonderful homemade desert at the inn.||||The common areas include a fully stocked library, and comfortable sitting room, but our room was so nice, we actually spent most of our time there The rooms are huge, much more like a suite, with a free-standing gas fireplace in a nice sitting area, a desk, and very comfortable beds. Our king mattress and its linens were both top notch!||||Bathrooms are large, and comfortable, they have 2 person soaking tubs and large showers, both of which were spotlessly clean! And the bathroom was stocked with just the right selection of high quality soaps and shampoos, and furnished with plush towels and robes.||||The quality of the inn experience was wonderful. The food was top quality and plentiful, the rooms were large & comfortable with nice extra touches throughout, and the care taken all over the property was obvious. Our inn experience absolutely met our expectations, and matched the price we paid…we plan to return!

We are constant travelers and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, apartments and guest houses around the world. This one is exceptional. Every detail of the room (all three rooms are in their own dedicated wing of a beautiful country home) is of the highest quality and well thought out. Heated floors, adjustable beds, exceptional quality linens and toiletries. Had we the time, we would happily have settled in for a week or two! Breakfast was nothing short of gourmet with home baked organic breads and a lovely presentation. We left our briefcase upon our departure, which would have cost us a two hour round trip to retrieve. The innkeeper, Sally, was kind enough to bring it to us halfway. What wonderful people she and her husband Jim are. Don't miss this stay, it's worth the trip to New Hampshire!

I decided to vistit this B&B on an impromptu visit / drive to Mt. Washington September 2012. I must say that I was so delighted I stayed here. The house is gorgeous and well kept. The owners have made such wise and taseful choices with every room and fixture. In comparison to other B&Bs that I've stayed at, this NH cocoon has a nice balance of masculine features/furniture with a feminine touch. The setting, views, misty morning with a cup of coffee, and comfortable bed remind you of why you venture an extra few miles out of the way to stay somewhere you will always remember and will want to return. Breakfast was a great way to start the day before starting my drive up Mt. Washington. I appreciated the organic choices of the host; the raw milk was the best glass of milk I've ever had (and the poached pears and corn bread were a close second). Thank you Sally & Jim for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I had planned to spend one or two nights at Mt. Eustis on our way to the coast of Main for a relaxing vacation. However, we were so happy at the Inn that we changed our plans and stayed at Mt. Eustis for ten days!||||Sally and Jim are totally devoted to ensuring the total comfort of their guests. The Inn is situated high on a hilltop, in a bucolic and scenic setting, beautiful in all seasons. The Inn is welcoming, beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless. The rooms are cozy and so comfortable. The food, all organic and lovingly prepared from scratch by Sally is of the highest quality and always delicious. ||||We highly recommend Mt. Eustis and look forward to making it a regular destination for years to come.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the inn on 2/22, our second anniversary.||||The inn keepers were very accommodating and low key. I let them know of our dietary restrictions, and they went above and beyond preparing delicious baked treats and a substantial breakfast that we could both eat. ||||Our large room boasted an amazing view of the Presidential range from Moosilauke to Mt. Washington. I particularly enjoyed gazing out the window at peaks I traversed on the Appalachian Trail. We also enjoyed the two-person tub, gas stove, and adjustable king-sized mattress. ||||The entire inn was clean, tidy, and quiet. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Everything was top notch.

The inn is located on top of a mountain with excellent views. It is tucked in the woods and not far from local ski areas and summer attractions. The Franconia notch parway is north of here, and the notch offers hiking, biking, trails, skiing, Gondola rides, rock climbing (the real thing), scenic views. 20 min to the beginning of the Kangamangus Highway where you will meet the white Mtns national forest.||Now back to the Inn. perfection! Every detail during your stay will exceed your expectations. ||The hosts' Sally & Jim are delightful. I was taken back of all the books that are placed throughout. There is also a library where Jim built the shelves (Sally varnished them). I could just stay there and just read! ||||Sleep number beds were comfy. Our suite was devine. Wood stove sitting area w. two double beds, huge bathroom and deep tub. Lovely bath salts and home made slices of organic soaps. ||Just lovely. It's the little things that make you feel so special while staying there.||||We opened our door after we woke up and a wonderful tea and coffee set up greeted us. Delicious coffee and a wide tea assortment. ||||Our breakfast was all organic, fresh, and superb. The Scrambled egg casserole was spectacular. Sally was nice enough to teach and share her knowledge or organic foods. ||||You will be thrilled and spoiled while staying at the Mt Eustis Inn. Please check out my pictures!

Imagine this: you drive into the White Mountains, get off at the exit to Littleton, a tiny NH mountain town, wind around a few street corners and then begin the real adventure as you drive "up" a hill driveway (not sure if there is a better way to phrase it), and after about half a mile, you arrive in an opening at the top with views of the mountains (including Mt. Washington) and the gorgeous Mt. Eustis Inn sitting there, peacefully removed from any other human distractions. This is probably not the place for travelers keen on shopping or watching television. This is a fantastic place though for people looking to restore themselves and feel inspired by calm beauty and the soothing comforts of a brilliantly designed house. ||||We visited the Mt Eustis Inn during a weekend in mid-November when the weather outside might be regarded by many people as somewhat intense. There was a snowstorm, the wind was around 35 mph, and the temperature was about 10F. When we first read the weather forecast, we felt a little foolish for planning a trip to NH in mid-November, and wondered what we would do all weekend if we couldn't go hiking during the day. We ended up having a fantastic weekend, and even managed to do several outdoor hikes (we brought lots of warm winter clothing with us). I almost wish the weather had been even more unbearable, because this inn is such a nice place to just sit around for hours and hours that I felt tempted to spend the entire weekend enjoying all of the different rooms inside. I consider myself to be a somewhat restless person, so I wouldn't say this about many places I have visited. I have fond memories of spending significant time in each of the different rooms of the inn. For instance, we stayed in the Opera House room, which was so large that there was an area near the windows which was occupied by a stove (it was either gas or electric, I'm not very knowledgeable about distinguishing such things) and two amazing arm chairs that reclined. I fell truly in love with the arm chairs and Sally thoughtfully gave me all of the information about them so that we could buy our own set of them. I honestly have never sat in a chair that I enjoyed more than that, and I have chronic pain in several parts of my body, so the ergonomics of chair designs are quite important to me. It was wonderful to sit in the chair by the fireplace with the mountain views all around us. I was so content just sitting there and enjoying my sensory experiences that I didn't even feel like reading a book (which surprised me). I also really enjoyed sitting downstairs in the main living room by the fireplace playing board games with my husband, and listening to soft relaxing music in the background. We would each occasionally get up from the game to help ourselves to treats (like peanut brittle cookies and blueberry ricotta pound cake) and warm beverages (like lemon chamomile tea) in the pantry. Jim would sometimes come in to the sitting room to put more logs on the fire. It was such a lovely moment, and one that I hope to recreate in the future whenever I feel the urge to truly relax and enjoy the present. I think this would be a fantastic place to come for people that love such experiences, or who are stressed out and in search of such replenishment.||||I really appreciated how the house seemed to be designed with maximum foresight into structural features that might enhance a B&B experience. I also loved how spacious many of the rooms were, including our Opera House bedroom. The website doesn't really show just how large the room is, including a gigantic bathroom. Also, everything was truly spotless. I tend to be a little germophobic, but I actually would say that this Inn was as clean and spotless as it is humanly possible to make. I couldn't find anything in the entire house that was not immaculately cleaned, which I must say I greatly appreciated. My husband and I also both slept really well, which was unusual for us. I loved the mattress on our bed, and all of the indulgent bedding (very soft sheets, extra comforters if needed, etc.).||||Now on to breakfast. I had read the other trip advisor reviews before our visit, so I was already debating whether or not I would try to raw milk and kamboucha. I really appreciated how Sally took the initiative at breakfast to tell me about both sides of the debate, before I even said anything. She made the raw milk and kamboucha entirely optional, making it very easy to avoid or try, depending on one's preferences. I thought this was a great way to handle a controversial issue. Breakfast was all truly organic, fresh, and homemade. There were multiple courses each day. In addition to orange juice, she offered us a number of other interesting and tasty beverage options like blueberry pomegranate juice. I thought the first courses each day of breakfast were particularly imaginative, e.g., a poached pear with fruit sauce, and on another day, a homemade sauce of coconut milk, almonds, and honey over cut fruit. I think there were 3-4 courses total each day. And then of course, if you're feeling truly greedy, you can also stop by the pantry for a little nibble at one of the fresh treats.||||One caveat would be that if a snowstorm is expected on the weather report, either make sure you have 4-wheel drive or snow tires on your car, or have a working cell phone so you can call Sally and Jim if you get stuck (they immediately came and helped us, which was awesome, and super memorable). We drive a wimpy car without snow tires, so we needed a little help when a heavy snowstorm struck the town while we were out at dinner late at night. It all added to the adventure of the weekend, and the coziness of a truly memorable inn experience.||||Overall, I'm rather surprised that there are such few reviews of this property on TripAdvisor. I guess most visitors to the inn are too busy reflecting on the beautiful mountain views and all of the pantry treats, etc., to get around to writing reviews. Oh well, it is a bit of a mystery though.

We only stayed one night but the stay was delightful. Sally and Jim are great hosts and treated us very well. The breakfast was spectacular and I didn't need lunch that day! Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. However, if you are a TV person this inn is not for you as there are no televisions in the building. I found it refreshing and didn't mind a bit. There is a nice view of Mt. Washington from the porch. The Inn is relatively new and well cared for. The grounds are very nice and we enjoyed sitting out at the fireplace, although it was daytime and didn't need to be lit. All-in-all you can't go wrong staying here. Highly recommended.

What a treat. Small, quaint dining room in historic building on Main Street. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was delicious and the chef delivered a number of the courses personally. Service was great.
