The hot dogs from here are pretty okay. Not the best but not the worst either. Wanted to try this place out since it's relatively close and have passed by it many times.
This is a hidden gem for breakfast. Awesome, inexpensive breakfast sandwiches to go. Better than McDonalds at the same or similar prices. Our plumbing shop is just down the street, we'll be stopping in more often.
Staff was really sweet. They werent busy when we went. Got an italian beef, cheese dog and cheeseburgers. Lots of food. Well wprth it for the price. Italian beef was incredible. Fries were fresh. The lady up front is funny. I asked what she recommended she said the food is so good she eats there. Would go back.
Has all the classics, cheeseburgers, big steak fries, hot dogs, and are known for their gyros. I got the pizza puff and it was perfect, not oily, light and flaky crust. Good old school hot dog joint in Des Plaines. Very fast service. Seems small but at least 12 booths to sit.
Great food, good guys! Had a Gyros sandwich and a Pizza Puff. Awesome fries and cheese sauce! Highly recommend
Breakfast dishes are very good. The cucumbers on the burgers and hot dogs makes it better. No other restaurant does this ,that is why Mr.Pup is good
I’ve been going there since I was a kid and they’ve always provided me with great customer service. The food is also great it’s my first choice when it comes to going out to have a gyro or Italian beef. The food is always fresh and they make sure you’re pleased with the food. The dine in area is always kept clean and if you need anything they make sure to get right to it.
Best hot dog that I've had in a long while, especially for the price. Nice, fresh toppings, including chunks of tomatoes. Fries are great, too. Usual booth seating on the inside.
