Mr Donuts - Donut shop in Lone Tree - 8854 Maximus Dr, USA

I've been on the hunt for a good donut shop for a while now. I moved to Castle Rock a couple of years ago & have been pretty disappointed. Donuts are so overpriced lately & adding insult to injury the donuts at those places aren't even good 😖 Well, I happen to be in the area of Mr. Donuts area, & saw the high reviews & decided to give them a try. I'm very happy to say I think I've found the winner!!! Their donuts were delicious! (Especially the CRONUT! 🤤), and best yet, they weren't crazy expensive (around $2/donut though it varies with type +/-$1)! Plus, the staff was warm, welcoming & helpful🥰... absolutely recommend!! 👌

Decided to give Mr. Donuts a go after seeing the continuous high ratings and I am here to give them another high rating. I was welcomed by the staff in a friendly atmosphere and the donuts and kolache were PERFECT!!! Like PERFECT. I can't wait to go back and upset I haven't been getting my donut needs met from here sooner! :D

Fantastic donuts. Cake, yeast, old fashioned. All very delicious and fresh! Donut holes were an extra treat as well!

Wanted something different than King Soopers or LaMars or the locally owned shop here in Parker, so made the 15 minutes drive to Mr. Donuts. I will be doing this more often. Wow, for 6 cake and 6 glazed donuts, and none of the disappointed. The red velvet donuts are like circle cupcakes, so much flavor and great texture. The glazed are airy and light. These are the best donuts I have had in the Denver metro area in a long time. They have a repeat customer for sure! And thanks for the surprise donut holes! My daughter loved them.

I was excited to try this place because it had good reviews and I came from Castle Pines so not really very close for me. I drove all the way there and arrived at 7:45 AM on a Tuesday only for them to be closed. It said online they were open, the hours on the door said they open at 6AM on Tuesday. There was no note on the door or anything explaining why they were closed during regular business hours. That tells me the owners don’t run a responsible business. I ended up getting my donuts from Lamar’s and will just go there from now on because they are always open when they say they will be open.

So so good! I read about this place in the local news but have always been in that area after they've closed. I recently tried them and am a HUGE fan. I'm a raised donut fan and their donuts are chewy. It's the best textutre. I don't know what they put in their glaze but it's amazing. I bought some to share with my kids but they didn't make it home.

The best donut place in Denver by far!! I don’t understand how Krispy Kreme has thousands of reviews when Mr. Donut is so close. I love that they always throw in a few free donut holes with ever order, which gives such a family feel to it. My favorites are the glazed donuts, rounds filled with raspberry, and long johns with Bavarian cream. Yum :))) Ps. I recommend coming early (like 9) because by 11am on the weekends, it’s slim pickings!

This is my go to Donut fix when I come to Lone Tree. By far the BEST Donut Shop I’ve been too!!! Polite & courteous owners & workers. I can’t get enough of the Croissant Donuts!!! I’ve had them at other donut shops & those shops don’t even compare to Mr Donuts. Kristy G
