Mr Brews Taphouse - Restaurant in Melbourne - 3945 W Eau Gallie Blvd, USA

Came here after a long day after reading that this place had a great selection of beers on tap. We were seated right away and our server Missy was kind and knowledgeable. What I didn’t like but I understand that it wasn’t the server’s fault was the fact that they didn’t not have that many beers in stock. So options were very limited. I was advised it was due to a change of management that caused the limited taps. My top picks were out and I was getting frustrated with it. Anyway I was able to get a Cigar City Maduro Brown and a tasty Hidden Springs Ale Orange Crush beer, which the server recommended. I gotta say the orange crush was what I needed to enjoy the night. Food was great, the poutine fries were unique and tasty but I felt that there was too much gravy on it. As for the sliders, they were cooked well and were delicious.

Great place. We love that it is close by. The cell reception is awful in here. It would be great if they got free wifi setup. Also it would be nice if they offered food specials over the weekend. I did like their new burger bowel and seemed filling and was very pretty.

Decided to stop by because of all the beer on tap choices! Arrived around 7:00 on a Tuesday, wasn't busy at all, I think this is more of a Friday - Saturday type place. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had the onion rings, they were OK - not much onion inside, I've had better. The burger sliders were yummy, very juicy with soft buns. Daughter had a bacon cheeseburger, it was good. You do have to pay extra for a side of anything. She got the homemade chips, they could be sliced a little thicker - they were either over crisp or not quite done. Great draft selection to meet anyone tastes. I would suggest this place for a group after work on a Friday or for watching a game- plenty of TVs. There is also outdoor seating, if you are a smoker - but it is on the west side of the restaurant.

What a Gem!! Great food, great selection of beers, decent prices and daily specials.... what more can we ask for?!? We decided to try it for lunch and were not disappointed! Excellent burgers... the "All American" rivals or beats all local places found even in downtown Melbourne. Our only comment would be that, even though they're homemade, drop the chips and focus on the fries! You have a winner fries recipe, not so winner chips recipe.... save the time and money you're spending on chips and focus on your fries, they're fantastic! Definitely not our last trip here. This will be a "go to" must whenever we get family and friends into town to visit. Don't pass this place up! We're thinking about going back tonight to try out their Wednesday night Wing Special!!!

Went there to try out this relatively new place. The beer selection was very good - I’d estimate 40 beers on tap with a wide range of styles. The one I picked was very good. The server willingly offered samples for my table mates to try. The burgers are very good. I had the Kentucky bourbon burger. The pulled pork sandwich was “not bad”, but pretty average. We had a basket of fries to share. Decent size, but the fries were the larger cut, doughy inside and not real crisp outside. Some may prefer this approach, but it’s not my favorite. Service was fine to start, but then difficult to find as our meal progressed. Prices are bit on the high side, with most tap beers going for $8.25 a pint (a few for less, a few for more). In all, a decent place, but not exceptional. Sorry for the shadows on the photos.

I was craving a burger, and one with a fried egg! Not many places carry this item though, so after doing a little googling, I found Me Brews Taphouse. The menu is simple and what you expect from a bar, with decent prices. The burger was juicy! A good size patty with super fresh toppings. My only regret is I didn’t get double cheese as it wasn’t gooey enough for my preference. The fries… well, they LOOKED tasty enough but were just down right awful. Soggy and bland. Shoestring are my go to French fry and these were so very disappointing. They had zero crisp and again, no flavor. But let’s talk about the star of the show! The chips! Talk about a flavor bomb! They were crispy, even under all that rich creamy beer cheese and just loaded with so much bacon and onion! Wow wow wow I will be going back just to get more of these sinfully delicious chips

Server was polite and took our order. The order consisted of the American Cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and lettuce, my spouse ordered the nacho platter. The food came. Was quite disappointing to say the least. To pay 10.49 for a piece of meat on a bun with a thin slice of cheese and one piece of lettuce is such a rip off. No fries come with the burger that is a separate charge of 3.49. Who serves a burger with no side?? Mr. Brews does, my spouse didn’t say much about the nacho platter, I could tell the portion was small compared to other establishments . So of course it was gone. He did like it . But to spend 10.49 on a burger 3.49 on French fries 5.25 on a Heineken 7.00 on a mixed drink An additional charge .50 for orange juice that makes the drink good. Nachos Mostly a bunch of chips with meat little lettuce, some tomatoes, sour cream for 9.990 We were not asked if we wanted a side, which i did want one. When the food came and there were no fries, I had to ask other fries and at that moment, she could’ve said there’s an extra charge for them But she did not. I’ll come the fries and then we get our bill and on the bill extra charge for the fries cost is not the issue is communication which there is none at this establishment. 10.49 American Burger 9.99 Nachoes 7.00 Malibu coconut rum .50 splash of orange juice 5.25. Heineken 3.49. French fries Totaled: 36.71 Tax 2.21 CREDIT CARD FEE 1.03 I normally would not complain about a cc fee but there needs to be communication tell the person there is a fee. Tell the patrons that come in that fries don’t come with this Cheeseburger. The trivia was fun the burger was about as tasty as checkers( which I haven’t be to one in 10 years) I know I could have gone anywhere else and had a better burger for less money that came with fries Bottom line: Serve the fries or some side with all sandwiches I could have go to Burger King And been more satisfied with My burger than I was tonight Why are you the owner charging your customers a credit card fee. Don’t tell me I know the reason you have to use it enough to pay for itself and you don’t bring enough business to do so. Just next time you have someone come in or when handing the bill explain the cc charger. It will reflect in your Tip. We are not obligated to tip You however have to charge the fee for the cc machine. So better communications with servers will get you far. Bottom line: This was our second visit 1 was right after Mr Brews opened and 2nd and our last time was tonight. As we expected our food to of better quality. I honestly don’t know how Mr Brews businesses stay open when they don’t have many patrons coming in. Good luck with the new Management, as far as we can say New or Old Management the food is subpar. Hey the trivia was fun. We won’t back though!

This is a very cool place! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so nice! I can't wait to come back! Pictured is the bacon mac n' cheese burger and (half eaten😁) poutine. So YUM!
