Mr 3s Crab Pot Bar & Grill - Seafood restaurant in Gastonia - 2431 E Ozark Ave, USA

One of my favorite places in Gastonia. Portions are huge, prices are great for what you get and the service is always friendly. Inside is always clean and no odor like one would expect from a seafood place. If you haven't tried Mr3's yet you're really missing out. 15/10 ⭐️'s highly recommend.

Placed an order online and got there around the time it said to pick up. When I got there the cashier said five more minutes but I sat for at least 20 mins extra. Once I got back to my place of residence to check out my food, it was not was I expected or paid for. The lobster tail was fried so hard and in old grease for what it appeared. The shrimp not fried hard enough the breading was coming off in my mouth, yuck! The fish wasn’t to my desires either. Fries greasy and soggy. The boiled eggs tasteless as well. Overall experience not a good one. Too bad I didn’t place my order through door dash probably would be the only way I can get my money back. Will not support here again though. -EDITED: Don’t come for me bc I posted my honest review as by other reviews you like to snap back at people and speak your side. It’s a business that needs to be managed and handled professionally! No one needs to hear your back story or smart mouth about what they paid for and can’t get no reimbursement on. I most definitely will not eat here again. Every comment literally spoke truth about the food, it’s nasty!

*Update* the owner reply is not addressing the food quality besides the shrimp was bad. I would like a refund. I didn’t get what I paid for. I received one full crab cluster the other cluster had two pieces on it. The egg I paid extra for was rubbery. Please just refund my money. And no i couldn’t bring it back. Y’all were closed by the time i got home. I ordered online and was very disappointed. I used to go here years ago and really liked the quality of the food but tonight it was not it! The seafood Mac tasted like it barely had cheese or seasoning. The shrimp was not clean and had shh in it. Seafood was dry rub and not really saucy how i remember. I paid extra for turkey sausage and received pork. And they forgot the corn in both platters i ordered. Forgot to take more pictures.

Old grease, old grease, old grease!!!! Run…$25.99 for food fried in old grease. This food is the worst I’ve gotten in 8 years in North Carolina. The one in Charlotte is much better. I would return this slop, but it’s black owned! I will never go back. The hot sauce in the packets was black and old. This is a tin room, not a bar. Do better!

Service was great, welcoming and friendly. Drinks were good, tried Crabby peach lemonade and strawberry lemonade. Food portions are big for the price. Can't beat it. Would definitely return as I saw they had outside seating. Inside kind of small and could use some sprucing up, definitely has potential to be a cool spot!

Both locations are good. The one in Gastonia just hits a lil different for the better. The guys are always courteous and friendly but most importantly know how to cook. And for the prices, especially his specials he runs throughout the week, I would say you're getting a good deal for your food.

Food was absolutely delicious. Employee that was working was friendly and our food was ready very quickly. The platter was hot and fresh! Loved the seasoning and we quickly devoured it! We had take out, but I did use the restroom which wasn’t very clean looking, but that would be my only complaint.

Let me start off by saying these young men in this establishment knows what they are doing. I have been going here for a long time but just this year I have notice different cooks and I’m most definitely not mad at all. Them young men knows exactly what they are doing, food so good and great people overall, we now go a lot more cause the food is A1, don’t waste your money going to yummy crabs, or the surrounding areas. Mr. 3’s location in Gastonia is forever my spot, y’all boys keep making me and my family happy y’all know exactly what y’all doing in that kitchen. Top 10 around NC period everything they serve them boys put they heart and soul into it. Most definitely will love everything about them
