On my last day in delightful Cambria I found myself in want of some libations, a quick google search found me at the local watering hole which was Mozzi's saloon. The bartender was a very courteous young lady who I enjoyably chatted with during my two or so hours patronizing the bar. This establishment is cash only and pay as you go so be aware. But the prices are very fair (especially during happy hour) and I quite enjoyed myself. If your ever in town stop by for a pint.
I don’t think they serve food. I had a great happy hour with some locals one day. The first time I showed up to open the bar with Ms. Aubrey. She is a stellar sister to play a game of pool with. We reminisced on years spent living in North Carolina but agreed that Cambria was a special place. The locals here like to play snooker. It’s a sleepy saloon in the afternoon but I think they have live music on weekend evenings. The decor is old west and has enough random stuff on the wall for hours of contemplation. The pool tables aren’t too beat up but I’d take my own stick. The juke box is digital and you can find a bunch of songs. I want to thank Ms Aubrey for turning me on to Zach Bryan who is such a great singer songwriter to share a road trip with. Ramble on folks!
Best bar, locals frequent the spot. If you aren’t a jerk, people will be nice. Can’t wait to go back!
great locals bar. Bartender was great, patrons were friendly, what more could you ask for?
Great place to stop for a drink… if you are visiting and want the “at home” feeling…this spot won’t disappoint.
Enjoyed my night here with the hubby. Coming from out of town and it felt like we've been coming here for years. Bartender Aaron was awesome and kind. The other patrons were equally awesome. Should we come out that way again this will definitely be one of our pit stops!
Great bartenders, generous pours, and a fun, casual atmosphere.
We just attempted to go to the bar with our service dog, and were told that we had to sit outside because dogs were only allowed outside. We told the bartender that she was a service dog and we had the documentation to show she was ! The bartender got an attitude and told us we still had to sit outside because she might bite somebody. So discriminated against us which is not legally allowed , so we walked out. This is really sad because we’ve been going their for the past 30 years and have had so many fun nights with family and friends !
This is the place for "Gluten Free" (not vegan because eggs are used in the waffle mix) breakfast. We ordered the bishop smoothie (includes coffee) along with the orange smoothie (includes bee pollen). The weirdo waffle and the fiscalini fruit waff
Leffingwell Landing Park is a nice park to visit along the central coast. It is a small park but has walking trails along the shoreline, and great coastal cliff views. Well worth a pitstop if driving up Hwy 1.
This approximately 1-1.5mi boardwalk has forested views on one end and bluff views on the other, with nature doing its thing everywhere in between. We saw cotton-tail rabbits, brush bunnies, and various coastal birds and caught a squirrel chowing dow
Beautiful ocean view hiking trails in a nature preserve nestled between residential areas. Views of ocean, seals, birds. Most, if not all trails were suitable for a stroller and the shoreline trail can accommodate a wheelchair.
My husband and I had dinner at this little gem on Christmas night. They were packed, so service was naturally a bit slow, but the wait staff was friendly, genuine and clearly hustling as fast as they could. This restaurant is just what a local fine d
We were on a road trip from Los Angeles up the western coast and we stayed a couple of days in Cambria. Such a beautiful place! We asked for a food breakfast place and Lynnâs restaurant was suggested unanimously. So we did and we werenât disappoi
A quick getaway during the off-season, which made the prices more attractive. To be right across the street feom Moonstone Beach was a treat, and the lean, quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. Even the light rain made the walk on the nearby boa
This place is so charming! Lovely gardens, quiet rooms. It's comfortable and close to downtown shops a d beaches on hwy 1. Close to Hearst Castle . I drove and it's about 15 or 20 minutes away. The restaurant in the hotel is nice and has good food.
I frequently visit the Cambria area and absolutely love Moonstone Beach because of that I am constantly scoping out hotels that I would like to try. White Water has long been on the bucket list. I found a deal through the website and booked. I had
The experience my wife and I had here was fantastic. It was a very cute and quaint motel. I read some of the bad reviews on here and I disagree with them. You can tell that the property is maintained very well. Bathrooms, floors, towels and beds were v
