Fun little place, right next to the soccer field. I like going on to the wooden playground even as an older person, the fellas and I always have a fun time here. I can recall this one time I was there; I was with two friends messing around on the playground when some kids came up to us and asked us to play diner. The one was hesitant telling the other that we wouldn't want to because we were old. Obviously, we didn't have anything better to do so we played along and had a really good time playing diner with some random kids. It's really a great place for memories to be made and a great place for the kiddos.
There’s lots to do here! The wife and I like to walk the gravel footpath around the park while the kids play or have their soccer practice on one of the outfields. TJ baseball has their annual opening day ceremony here. From spring through fall the fields are used near round-the-clock for baseball, soccer, and softball. There are several playground and swing sets throughout with accompanying picnic shelters and grills for cooking out. The concession stand located to the right of the park entrance is open in season and lots of food and snack options. For reference there are four fields here. Mowry 1 is the closest to the entrance, then 2 and 3, and 4 is at the rear of the park drive; 4 is not visible from the park entrance.
Park of my childhood. It has changed (as expected), however, it's still a peaceful, safe walking area for Pleasant Hills residents. Many Little League baseball games were played there and I have fond memories of a Black Walnut tree during a Thanksgiving hike with my father and siblings.
This is a park that has been her over 50 years. It is well maintained and updated. There are four baseball/softball fields with lights, three pavilions, two playgrounds, a lovely walking path and... a fire fighter training school! Parking is not the greatest but at least there is parking! I've enjoyed this park my whole life and am still enjoying it with my grandchildren too!
Pittsburgh Dad's favorite park! He's done a few videos there at the park on the baseball and softball fields there. We live in Jefferson Hills and my daughter grew up playing softball there for the local rec ball organization. The community makes good use of the park with many varied events scheduled there throughout the year (not so much this year though...) The annual Pleasant Hills Community Day is always a big draw with lots of local companies and restaurants setting up booths. The whole housing complex is called Mowry Park, just to clear up any confusion.
It's a small park not many trials but has baseball and soccer fields.
Excellent park to walk to if you live in the pleasant hills area. Multiple playgrounds, baseball fields, and spaces to have events like birthday parties. Also great for parents who need their kids to run and expel some energy 😉
Went for a granddaughter's softball game at night. Very well lighted field.
Always beautiful in the fall! Well maintained local "mini-park". Trail is short but gives a decent cardio workout as it goes slightly up hill. Ample parking, great for kids to see so much nature
One of the few open mall shopping centers in the area that still have a good selection of decent stores. DSW, Best Buy, Texas road house, Joanne fabrics, dental work, pet smart, Kay jewelers, Chinese buffet, Phillip pelusi, five below, cricket, LA f
This had got to be the BEST buffet in Pittsburgh. I loved everything I tried and there are so many choices, I couldn't try everything. The sushi is top notch and the Mongolian grill has only the freshest food. The place is spotless, and the restroom
