Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa - Resort hotel in Whitefield - 101 Mountain View Rd, USA

We recently stayed at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my in-laws. The hotel is stunning and the views are beautiful! We loved how much stuff there was to do there for kids and families including a large pool, activity center, movie theatre, and game rooms! We also enjoyed visiting the farm and using the disc golf course. The only feedback I would offer is more/affordable food options including more options for vegans and vegetarians. I also was able to hear a lot of running through the hallways at all hours of the night. All in all though we enjoyed our stay!

You get an absolute traditional elegance when you stay here - I have officially found my new spot to stay when I'm up in the White Mountains!! The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa was very comfortable, clean, accommodating, and friendly while I was there for my December 2023 business visit. I stayed in a corner queen room. it was incredibly clean, well put together, and even had extra pillows and blankets in the closet without me having to call down to the front desk to ask for them (major points there!). I enjoyed a fantastic massage, wish I remember his name, but it was one of the better massages I have received - felt very relaxed and the spa itself is updated, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the spa items give you a while you're enjoying the amenity is great! I will be booking a spa treatment during my next visit. I also used the indoor pool and hot tub, I was alone for the hour that I was there, and I can imagine if other people were there it would get crowded. I enjoyed the bar for dinner, the bartender was friendly, the food was incredibly prompt and the drinks were great. ||Overall a 10/10 experience, I wouldn't put too much stock into the other more negative reviews - if you treat the staff respectfully then they will treat you with the utmost respect and dedication!

I hesitate to write a great review, simply because I would love to keep the mountain grand view hotel all to ourselves. For years I’ve been wanting to bring my family here and go to Santa’s Village. We finally made the decision to do so in the summer and got everything booked for a December getaway. I cannot speak highly enough of all of the Hotel staff. Clearly people visit from all over the place and some have incredibly high demands, one person can only do so much and it’s important to appreciate people who are doing the most and best they can. Super family friendly and everything you need is right on site. My children said it was the best time they’ve ever had and we look forward to being able to go again in the future. An absolute gem in the middle of the mountains. Typically we stay in North Conway, but felt like we wanted a change and it was awesome! From the beautiful holiday decorations, seeing the animals at the farm, the nighttime campfire and all of the amenities, including the excellent restaurant, there is no reason to go elsewhere.

What an amazing location!!!! Attended a conference here and I would definitely want to go back. Rooms are spacious, but fit with the style of the hotel. Team members were always very friendly and helpful! Took advantage of a spa day as well and it was amazing!!! Great time here, hope to be back again one day!!!

Great Thanksgiving getaway! Love the old grand hotels, too few are left. Room was nice, great views of the mountains. Food was good to very good. Breakfast buffet could have had warmer food, but the Lunches, dinners and Thanksgiving Buffet were all great. The Swordfish I had on Wednesday night was the best I've ever had.

Location is in the middle of nowhere but they have all you need. I wouldn’t minded getting snowed in for a few days. The place is massive. We eat dinner here two night in a row and both times the staff were amazing, the food was outstanding, best hotel food ever! And the atmosphere was relaxing. We stayed here for two night and already had plans to go up to Mt. Washington by the Cog railroad. But if you didn’t the view is amazing. There pools, farm, axe throwing, gold, the best workout room I have ever seen for a hotel and more. There seem to alway have a lot of people coming going midweek. For an old hotel they really put a lot of work into restoring the place. Everything was clean and functional!!! I will definitely go back!

Beautiful location. Rooms were immaculate and well appointed. Staff could not be more accommodating. Food was good, everything is just fabulous!

If you are into classic luxury, you will be impressed. The public areas are like something out of the 1940s and, everything is of the highest quality and, I presume, the highest cost too. ||It is absolutely STUNNING!||The rooms are of the same top-notch quality and vintage too and with updated amenities. ||The views of the White Mountains are there to greet you each time you walk out onto the porch. They are equally STUNNING! Especially, in the Fall, when the leaves are at their best.||The very second you arrive at this place, you KNOW that you are in for something special. You will be taken aback by the feeling of being in a bygone era of luxury that was once only available to Royalty. ||
