This place exceeded the expectations of my wife and I. We arrived in the evening during January but the key pickup process was simple, and when we drove up to our cabin the lights were on and it was already warm inside. Everything was impeccably clean, the mattress and pillows were comfortable, and the gas fireplace was easy to use. All the appliances and bathroom amenities were perfectly clean and clearly very high quality. Even down to the window blinds, everything was clean and user friendly. We stayed here for an impulsive one night snowboarding vacation but are already planning our next trip. So thankful we found it, and a big shout out to the owners of the property for making such a beautiful location to enjoy some peace and quiet!

Since I can’t go higher than five stars, five stars it is. This was the most perfect weekend getaway I could have asked for. We stayed in cabin 24. It was immaculate. The weather was rainy and awful but it just made it that much cozier. I wanted to move in and live there permanently but instead I just rebooked to go back in the summer. I have absolutely no complaints. Pleasant and peaceful surroundings as well. Very happy and wonderful experience.

This was my first trip to Mountain Springs Lake Resort but not my last! Our cabin was lovely! It was warm, cozy and welcoming! The grounds are beautiful for a nice walk. We were even lucky enough to enjoy a snow squall! There's lots of things to see and do in the area or you can just enjoy your cabin and relax!

What a wonderful hidden gem in the Poconos! Our group really enjoyed spending a few days in one of the Hemlock cabins. It was so cozy and welcoming! The grounds are lovely. We will definitely return! I would like to see the area during different seasons! We were lucky enough to have some snow squalls come through

We were very pleased with our stay. Luxury suites are just that. Everything you need for a peaceful getaway. Everything was very clean, plenty of towels, comfortable bed, cozy seating area, and the world's biggest shower head. The lake and beach were very relaxing and there was no shortage of deer on the beautiful property to keep us entertained. Hope to go back in cooler weather to take advantage of the fireplace.

Our second stay this year! The cabin was perfectly comfortable and had all the basics we needed. We fished every day and hiked the well maintained trail. So serene and beautiful! We’ll be back again for sure.

My family and I just enjoyed a lovely 3 night mid-week getaway. Lakeview Cabin 24 (2 br 1 ba) was a nice choice for us. This particular cottage was recently renovated. Our kids (8 and 4) shared a room comfortably. The living room was cozy (we made good use of the gas fireplace) and kitchen was well-appointed. We particularly enjoyed the covered porch facing the lake. It is one house down from the East Beach playground/swimming area which was convenient and fun - felt like our own private space. The complimentary rowboat was a hit. The nature trail is also a plus, enjoyed by the whole family and quiet enough to see families of deer in every outing. Resort staff picked up trash every day; I have read reviews expressing negative thoughts around the lack of servicing rooms/cabins (like a hotel would) but we did not find this to be an issue for our 3-night stay. Our takeaway is that this is essentially an AirBnB with more on-property perks. In hindsight, items we wish were provided or included in the cabin: grill utensils/charcoal, throw blankets, and a laundry room. Otherwise, 4.5 stars! Would happily stay again.

Just came back after 4 nights at one of their lake view cabins. We had a GREAT time. This is the perfect place to unwind, unplug and create memories. Very relaxing and quiet. Thank you to Bill for making our stay fantastic!! We definitely felt like a part of the family. Can't wait to return!!
