We had our wedding at Delfosse in November and it was stunning! The ceremony site on the hilltop overlooking the vineyard and tasting room was such an idyllic place to get married. Their team was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. Even the owner, Mike, spent lots of time getting to know us and guiding us through the process. Everything was set up perfectly and couldn't have gone more smoothly. Delfosse will hold a special place in our hearts forever.

We had to replan our wedding for three different dates due to Covid, and Delfosse was willing to work with us through it all! We finally had our wedding this November, and it was worth the wait. The vineyard in the fall is breathtaking, and guests commented on how beautiful everything was all night. We ended up having our ceremony in the "meadow" instead of at the top of the hill, but the fountain behind the altar made for an incredible backdrop. The tasting room was great for a chilly cocktail hour, and the event barn was perfect for dinner and dancing. I'm so glad we got to spend our wedding at Delfosse!

We always love the wine, and staying at the cabin here. We have visited four times and it’s always been well worth it. Honorable mention to Buck, their endearing rescue dog, who always is running around the vineyard.

Discovering my favorite Virginia winery is akin to finding a hidden gem in the heart of wine country. The inviting atmosphere and scenic vineyard create a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. The wines, a symphony of flavors, showcase the region's terroir with finesse. What sets this winery apart is not just the quality of the vintages but the genuine passion of the staff, making each tasting session a journey into the art and soul of winemaking. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or a casual visitor, this winery promises a delightful blend of hospitality and exceptional wines, leaving you with cherished memories.

Spectacular, personalized service at this out-of-the-way winery! Found this place as part of the Virginia Governor’s Cup Gold Medal Wine Trail. Gorgeous views and plenty of seating both indoors and out. Try the Screaming Hawk or Grinning Fox! Their Rose is sublime. Delfosse is an "estate" wine producer meaning all the grapes used to make their wines are grown on that property, an increasingly rare trait in winemaking these days.

We were excited to try Delfosse and visited on a Saturday. Waited 20+ minutes to order a bottle of wine at the counter (had two people working but neither addressed us or tried to serve promptly). When we finally got up to the counter to order, we weren't given any history on the winery or the wines themselves. Overall spent way more on a bottle of rose that we could hardly drink.

By far and away our favorite vineyard. It's a beautiful place with fantastic wine and always a warm welcome from the staff and owner, Mike. We love Crepe Days at Delfosse Vineyards and Winery. The Viognier is OUTSTANDING! Dog-friendly, too.

Every time we come here, we have a wonderful time relaxing and drinking great wine in a beautiful setting. Today, the owner educated us about their newly bottled wines. I would recommend their new Go-go girl (dry but fruit forward red) or their Petite Verdot, an excellent representation of Virginia wine.
