Wow, what a great golf course and community. 5 sets of tees, so select the right one to make it an enjoyable round. Big thank you to head pro / GM David Usry and his staff for a perfect finish to our annual "Boys Golf Trip".

Awesome course and well kept. Wet when we played but they had taken a good bit of rain. Greens were nice and rolled well. Plenty of difficulty for all. Great staff. The residents are awesome too. We ran into Ronnie between 5/6 on Independent and got to chat with him for a few minutes. So friendly. We will be back and looking forward to bringing some customers out to play.

Both Independence and Vintage were superb challenges. Chester still needs some work compared to the other 2 nines, however, still one heck of a challenge in its own right. Greens are fast but manageable. The course has plenty of room for off center strikes but those will land you in tough locations to make par.

Course was in very good condition. Tees, greens and fairways all very good. Pretty nice course layout overall. If you are a mid handicapper just know that the Bermuda rough is 3-4 inches tall and thick. Just brutal to get out of. Anyone not highly skilled needs to think no more than 9 or PW to extract the ball. Some of the most penal rough I have played out of in this area in last 25 years. Definitely keep a close eye on tee shots and where they land in rough or you might not find them. Maybe they had a tournament there recently so rough was allowed to grow. Not sure. Just a heads up. I echo some other posts. To not have any cold water at all on course and no cart drink service in August down here is down right abusive. FYI, we had a mid morning tee time. Really unacceptable for this area in August. Starter or even a sign should at least make that clear before you tee off so that one can stock up at the snack/grille area.

Challenging and fun course with 27 holes. Greens were in great shape. Nice restaurant and bar.

Course is always in spectacular shape. My favorite place to play in Augusta. Reasonable price, great staff. Range is fantastic! Difficulty scales nicely, and I appreciate that the course is designed to make the whites the best risk/reward balance on the golf course. Even a 20 handicap gets some great shotmaking opportunities. The three nines each have very distinct character. While I prefer Chester and Vintage the most, Independence is growing on me!

Played a tournament there today.....96 degrees, heat index 110.....NOT ONE DROP OF cold water anywhere on that course. NONE....No cart girl(they said she left at 3pm, we had 1:50 tee time)...cart boy came by several times, no cooler of water on his cart.....if I had not brought 8 bottles of my own frozen waters, I would have had to withdraw from the tournament after 7/8 holes.....INEXCUSABLE for a top tier course of this caliber to not have water for players.......WONT BE BACK I can assure you.

Course is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the area. Played in a tournament and just with some buddies and it’s in good shape. The employees manage everything well and are very professional. They manage a pretty full day of tee times well so no one is feeling super rushed or slow.
