Two months ago, our daughter and her husband had the Colorado Mountains as a backdrop for their beautiful wedding ceremony. Mount Vernon Canyon Club is a gem in Golden, CO. Easy access for in-town or out-of-town guests. Nicole helped us plan the event; she provided great advice to plan a very memorable wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. A Friday night allowed us to use both floors and decks at the venue, this area provided a great experience for 170 guests. The passed appetizers and Colorado themed menu are still raved about when we visit friends and family. The food and service were beyond our expectations. So thankful such an important piece of the evening was so outstanding! The dining area is large yet felt intimate for speeches and giving time for people to connect with the bride and groom. Dancing and fun continued into the evening on the lower level and beautiful deck! We highly recommend Mount Vernon Canyon Club! Enjoy!

We booked the Canyon Room for our wedding, Nov 4, 2023. It was absolutely above and beyond our expectations. All of the staff was so kind. Big thanks to Nicole, who coordinated for us the day of, and the other coordination staff for helping along the way. As we are from out of state, everyone answered questions for us as they were emailed in, even when others were on vacation. It was incredibly helpful for the planning process of the wedding! Even with a schedule mishap the day of, the photographer and the venue having different schedules (completely my fault), Nicole took this in stride and helped make our event run smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful. There are so many great spots for photo opportunities. Our photographers were also from out of state, but found amazing locations around the property so easily! They even had a couple tips from the coordinators about other nearby locations. (Shout out to Enna Photos for all photos attached). Our guests raved about the views and the food. The food was incredible! We ordered the goat cheese crostini and mushroom and onion tartlets for hors d'oeuvres, and had chicken schnitzel, rocky mountain trout, and vegetable risotto for our dinner options. The cake was made through Elegant Bakery, who's partnered with the venue. Nicole helped us get in touch with them to pull off a fancier design than we were originally quoted, which came out beautifully! We can't thank everyone involved enough! We couldn't have had a better day!

Mount Vernon Canyon Club is amazing! I had my wedding here on 9 Oct. Not only is the view great but the food we had at our reception is probably the best food I’ve had at a wedding…and I’ve been to a lot of weddings. The food was freshly prepared and beef melted in your mouth. Nicole worked with us as our event’s director and I cannot say enough good things about her! She went above and beyond to help us not only before but on our actual wedding day! She did everything from taking time to help blow up balloons for our exit, making sure everyone was lined up for the ceremony, to getting our plates for us at dinner. She made us feel so welcomed and like family by the end of the night. If I couldn’t find some one Nicole definitely could and would. She was the best! The staff was so kind too! They even made us a plate and put it in the bridal suite for when we got hungry later. I couldn’t say enough good things about everyone that worked there! From the bartender to the kitchen staff that would come out to check and make sure everything was okay. It was definitely a great experience with a very attentive staff. I highly recommend having your wedding or event here!

I've worked in numerous venues over the years, but this one stands out as a true gem. What added to the charm of this place was Barbara, one of the most welcoming individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her warmth and hospitality made my visit all the more memorable. We got married at Mount Vernon on 8/13/2022 and had a PERFECT day! We've worked with Nicole from day one and she has been absolutely amazing when it came to all of the questions, last minute changes, day of execution, and ensuring the entire thing happened without any issues. The venue is absolutely gorgeous - I highly suggest going to see it, photos do not do it justice. We had about 130 guests, all from out of state, say it was the most beautiful venue they've ever been to. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. We had the plated pan seared chicken and braised short rib, it all came out on time and hot! The service and staff were top notch and extremely professional - always checking in with guests, filling waters, serving champagne, and ensuring there was no / minimal line at the bar all night. I could not suggest Mount Vernon enough! It was a perfect day and we had so much fun!

We had our wedding reception here just last month.. and I am still in awe of how amazing it was. As a bride, I was sooo anxious leading up to my wedding about how all the hard work I’ve done would be executed. Thankfully, I could not have been more at peace the day of our wedding. Barbara, and the entire team there are some of the kindest, most accommodating people in the industry. The views, food, service ALL beyond fabulous. So many guests commented that it was the single best wedding food they’ve ever had - or just best meal in general! We rented both rooms - upper level was dinner and lower level was cocktail hour and dance. It was perfect. We had passed apps : Caprese bites, Thai shrimp, and Kobe beef sliders. For meals we had : beef short ribs, chicken scaloppini, and risotto. Barbara you are a true God sent, and we will remember you for the rest of our lives - I truly don’t know how to summarize how amazing you are - thank you.

My husband and I got married at Mount Vernon in February and loved every minute of our special day there. We worked with Barbara and team on our unique, winter off season wedding and they absolutely nailed every detail! We used the Canyon Room and deck since our wedding only had about 40 guests but the space itself is vert tasteful and the view is absolutely stunning! It is the perfect location for a Mountain wedding with the convenience of being close to Downtown Golden. Barbara was so thoughtful throughout the entire planning process and did everything she could to make our day seamless and special! The food was amazing, fresh and beautifully plated. The bar was on point (great drinks were a huge focus for us)! And our day from the beginning of getting ready all the way to last call was smooth thanks to Barbara and team's hard work. Friends and family had such a wonderful time, they couldn't stop mentioning it for weeks. Pick Mount Vernon as your wedding venue and it will not disappoint!!
