This is quite an interesting buildings to learn and see. The wood carving and carpentry are mesmerizing.

The grounds surrounding the house are quite pretty and worth exploring. You can easily (if you are in shape) walk to this place from Philly along the river. Walking back can be a bit sketchy.

I am disgusted at how the PMA, who administers this park house, treats their employees. After the news about Josh Helmer harassing women and another manager actually hitting an employee, the PMA management and board have made it clear they protect their own and find the remaining workers disposable. Now they have turned off all social media comments. Shame on PMA and shame on the elitist management who treat the staff as nothing more than "the help"!
Never been here, but if you are a Benedict Arnold apologist like myself, you'll be so happy at this place where he did use to live. Sadly, Philadelphia was quite hostile to him. A MOB THREW ROCKS AT HIM!
