The girl at the desk when we checked in was friendly and gave us great advice for seeing the colors of fall the next day. The room is dated. Cheap toilet paper and no kleenex. The one chair was uncomfortable. The walls are thin enough that we heard the kids on one side playing till late and the couple next door were either honeymooning or having an affair. The breakfast was cold cereal or granola bars. The location was spectacular. So beautiful and close to lots of things to do. Unfortunately, this was our most expensive place we stayed on our 4 week trip. Not worth the money.
Stayed here for the hiking convenience. It was an out dated dump. Dishes were filthy, mold in the shower, and was just gross. You can tell whoever owns it is too cheap to put any money into it. You feel like you need to take a shower when you leave. Wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. Don’t do it!
Disappointing. Paid for a Deluxe Cabin, Mountain View after reviewing the facility on their website. Pictures on the website are extremely misleading; our cabin was nothing like the pictures. Although the cabin by itself was nice the accommodations were quite run down and felt sketchy. There is no way I would have used the shower, and felt uncomfortable using the bathroom at all - the floor was a weird squishy vinyl. The view was not anything special, we could see the office and trailer sign from the majority of our windows, the bedroom window faced the rest of the cabins. We had to walk outside to see the pretty mountain views. On the positive side, the staff was very nice and they have a nice little store in the office. It was a warm place to stay for the night. We were in Cabin 29.
This place is cozy and has a great view! The gentleman in the office was so nice and helpful. The rooms weren't too big kinda old but clean and the beds were comphy. I would definitely stay here again!!
The Mt. Jefferson View Motel and Cabins is a nicely-renovated gem nestled among the Presidential Range at the midway point on the Presidential Rail Trail. An easy 10 min drive into the town of Gorham takes you to several restaurants and stores. |The grounds of the motel are well-maintained, while still retaining the homey 1950's vibe. Families, hikers, and bikers will start to relax and unwind immediately upon check-in.|We stayed in cabin #27: clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities included. If there is anything lacking, guests can easily request items at the front office. The owner, Dewald, is attentive and flexible; he goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcome and have a great stay.|Baie dankie!|
The room was full of dog hair which got our allergies pretty bad. We have a dog at home and this was bad. Heat did not work properly. It was either 90 degrees or freezing, no thermostat in the room. Our neighbors came in at midnight and after sweltering in our room it was super awesome of their dog to start scratching or whining while we were trying to get our kids to stay sleeping. Walls are paper thin.
a fancy, cute cottage. Friendly officer, an edible breakfast. Everything was perfect except for the loudness. The monotone noise from the old-fashioned wall-mounted heater, the growling of the boiler outside, drove me crazy like it pierced my brain all night. If you turn it off, you'll hear a high-pitched wind split from a car running at high speed outside instead. If you are a little sensitive to noise, I recommend you consider this before making a reservation
Seriously could not be more accommodating!!!!!!!! We found this place traveling on the motorcycles, after dark, In a rainstorm, after long day up mt. Washington. NEBDR route. Great generosity and hospitality!!! Thank you!!! Hot tub room.
Very beautiful and spacious house/inn/airbnb place to stay with friends and families. We recently visited NH with 5 families and had the most memorable trip of our lives. We will always remember the mesmerizing fall color of NH and stay at Inn and Bo
