Mt Dora is such a beautiful place to visit. Great stores to check out. Very good restaurants to choose from. A great day or weekend getaway. There also are nice B&B places to stay, not expensive.

Went to a restaurant within the complex, I cant think of the name. It used to be on 441. Great meal Open face roast beef & fries. Great service & a good sized helping. The restaurant was called the Haystack.
Pretty awesome place. You got the postal office , 2 restaurants (breakfast and Italian), a dance studio, smoke shop, family dollar, and I believe a vintage shop. There’s plenty of parking the only thing is it needs to be redone. But this plaza has almost anything you need.

I like Mount Dora. Plenty of interesting shops and a variety of dinners. Music and local bands in the evening.
Haystack restaurant did not disappoint!! The chicken livers were amazing as always. Husband got all you can eat tacos and he did not go away hungry!! We will definitely be back!
It was a pretty nice strip mall with a few good restaurants and one of those Treasure Mart antique flea markets, which is fun to visit. There is also a Dairy Queen nearby.
