My granddaughter (age 15) and I enjoyed seeing all the motorcycles and learning some history. Videos were great! She enjoyed seeing the gear cyclists wore. Reasonable price; can be 1-2 hours depending on your interest in details. My husband is a motorcycle guy so was interested in rider history and engine details.
This was my second trip to the museum and loved it as much as i did the first time. This time i took one of my sons and my best friend. we had a blast what a cool place to visit. Got to see my mentors plaque on the wall for all he had done for the motorcycling world may he rest in piece. if you have never been you should go at least once in your life. there is a lot of information about so many bikes and riders.
Paid a visit to organization I been part of for so many years. Was interviewing and knowledgeable
Spur of the moment decision to visit, and it was awesome. Showed my 15yo what big bikes with drum brakes like I had wrestle looked like LOL. He especially liked the basement floor and the cut out motors etc...we spent 30 minutes in there understanding combustion, cranks, pistons and timing chains. Great facility, well layed out and our AMA memberships got us in for FREE. He said of all the school trips to DC, museums this was his favorite and he'd be going back with some buddies when he can drive.
Lots of really neat motorcycle history...been there twice so far
I’ve always heard of the AMA, but wasn’t quite sure what they did. First of all it’s a great little museum. A lot of really cool bikes of all makes and models. Each with a little placard giving some info on what makes the bike special. There’s a room that tells all the accomplishments of the AMA which was informative and interesting. After learning about what they do and how they stick up for riders rights, I’ve decided to become a member. If you’re a rider and are in the area you should definitely stop by for a visit!
Pretty cool place, definitely worth the stop. Free for AMA members, I believe $10 for non-members, it would be worth the $10 either way. Tons of motorcycle history in here, amazing bikes, world record breaking bikes, and a great staff and gift shop to go with it all.
Pretty cool overall! Definitely worth a visit! Expect to spend about an hour here. Take your time to look at it all and read the history!

Big Mamaâs Meal Prep has absolutely changed the way I do low-carb meals. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, filling, and ready after just a few minutes in the microwave. While I am not a medical expert, after introducing one or two big Mamaâ
Eric took care of things quickly, professionally, and courteously. Asked me to remove items from the refrigerator so they wouldn't get damaged or spoiled while he worked on the issue. Explained what he was doing/looking for to solve the problem. Gr

Everyone was so kind and helpful! From the start a lady offered me her cart. I tried to buy it from her but she wouldn't take it. Then I gave the cart to another lady and told her to pass it on. I especially enjoyed my cashier with the Aussie? accent
