I'm not a big fan of poke bowls but these were delicious. We ordered the shrimp tempura and a chicken one but I forgot the name. Although the chicken one was good, the shrimp was my favorite. You do get plenty of chicken though. Don't pay attention to the pictures I uploaded. The presentation was so much nicer. I had already dug into the shrimp one before I took the picture.
Oh my gosh please don’t go here it’s a complete waste of money!! I’ve had good sushi burritos before and this just isn’t it. My food was not quality at all it was $40 just for my fiancé and I each to have ONE burrito. And it was SO SMALL! You’re better off getting sushi at a nice restaurant in downtown boulder
Tried the crispy eggplant bowl and was disappointed. Flavor was heavy and oily overall and the sides couldn't adequately counter that. Plus the bowl had a ridiculous amount of rice. Otherwise, pretty nice place. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.
Big version of a sushi burrito... very fulfilling... the have different flavors and combinations... must try
Update: the manager of the store did reach out after I posted this to apologize and take the Poke off my card. Appreciate it! Hope you guys get back to the awesome quality we’ve come to know and love. Original: so I’ve loved Motomaki since it came to 29th st. Went today, and was so disappointed with what I received. The tuna poke was so sad looking, and the taste was comparable. The taro chips that came with it were all crushed up, so essentially useless as a vehicle for the poke. The shrimp tempura burrito was okay, but how are you charging $34 for all of this??? Please get it together.
love the burritos and needed to try the bowl, I recommend the burrito bc it’s a more fun concept but both are delish!
7/4/22- On the pricier side of poke places. The appetizer we got had very little salmon in it and was emptier then their display one looked. The taro chips were good. The bowls are a good size, but are very rice heavy when compared to the toppings. I would be willing to eat here again when I'm in the area.
Title: The Great Wall of Mayo So, I embarked on a culinary journey at Motomaki, and little did I know it would turn into the Great Wall of Mayo! My bowl arrived looking like it had just survived a mayo storm – I half-expected to see a tiny mayo lifeboat floating in there. But hold your horses because here's the twist – the moment I spilled the mayo beans (literally), the staff transformed! Apologies rained down faster than a mayo downpour, and they whisked away my overly mayoed creation, promising a mayo-balanced masterpiece in return. The customer service at Motomaki was great – they handled the mayo mayhem professional and with fast responses.

We held our work holiday party here and it was the perfect venue. Mike was really helpful in getting us booked in and Addison looked after us on the night. The ciders were brilliant, and we brought our own catering in for the event. We were 25 people
